You are very inspirational. I was wondering how you came up with the name Bramble Berry? And I feel stuck, I want to start my own soap business but have no clue on how to get started. What would be the first few things I need to do to get started? Thank you 😊

I really enjoyed your input here Anne-Marie. You are spot on with all of you points. I've been in business for almost 40 years and so much of what you said is spot on, where were you when I started. Once you learn that it's not a roadblock but just another hurdle you must jump over that is when you really start to accelerate in your business. When I started I knew nothing and little did I know it would take me 10 years to be an overnight success. Not knowing what you don't know (does that make sense?) but being willing and open to learn as you go is the key. Failure is not an option, never stop learning! This is the first thing that I have found in a very long time that I am interested in, I'm 63. If it is what you really want to do then pour your heart and soul into it, learn everything you can, plan your idea and then pull the trigger. Like Larry says, Geterdone! I most liked your 5 calls a day. I did that as well. You are going to get rejected but if you really believe in your product and stick to the process you have not other choice than to be successful! You're an amazing person and I admire your willingness to share your expertise with others. Keep up the great work your doing and I promise I will devourer all of what you share! Thank You David....
PS When I am done learning I will share with you when I pull the trigger.... Thank You Anne-Marie!

Well now, where to start..... I just received my first Bramble Berry order today and just happened upon this video. There are no coincidences in this world, I believe. I have watched several of your videos (learned A LOT) and did not know you ARE Bramble Berry. That is awesome! I have done a couple of other business ventures and could not agree with you more on most all of your opinions. Determination and tenacity are also extremely important. Anyway, I love the videos and the advise, as I am a visual learner, meaning I can read about it all day long and not get it, but seeing it once, I'm good! Yeah, I didn't do too well in school. Looking forward to learning much more from you and your crew! THANK YOU.

"Growth sucks profit" - YES, YES, YES!!! This is the hardest part of being a craftsman. Diversification is not the answer, niche is. Know your niche!! Took me 10 years in business to realize this :(

I love this video, even if it's an older one.
I love making soap, though in this process over the last 2 years I have found I'm only good at formulating, design and making it, I'm not good at labels, web/marketing and still haven't tried to do a craft show cause of anxiety.
    Slowing working on these things
