quite the real weather opposite from alaska videos i watched 2 weeks ago!! thanks for traveling the world for those who greatly appreciate your videos.. thanx4sharin' !! have a great time with family .. and may you all enjoy your upcoming holidays !! cheers !! you are awesome & terrific... !
The duke is actually Duke Kahanamoku the man who popularized surfing by rescuing people in Los Angeles caught in a rip tide using his longboard. He was an Olympic swimmer who actually won gold. Hawaii just became a state in 1959 while duke died in 1968 although he was around when Hawaii was annexed as US territory.
The ocean in Hawaii is beyond beautiful! I will never get over how clear, and blue it is. I live in California, and I never swim in the ocean here. But when I was in Hawaii, absolutely! I'm glad you went to Leonard's, the Malasadas are dangerously delicious. The Haupia ones is my favorite!🤗
Hey Adam, great boat ride tour, eating out and more with your family from Wakiki Beach, Hawaii..Nice Sunset in the Pacific Ocean..Enjoy your family vacation..
@TheDailyWoo - Ooh, you were SO close to a Brady Bunch filming location! Looking out the back of Duke's, to the right was a pink hotel - the Royal Hawaiian - where Alice threw her back out during hula lessons. I covered it in one of my videos - it looks almost EXACTLY the same as it did in 1971!
We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiin Village in August and can recommend it as somewhere you should explore on your next visit to Oahu, lots to see and explore in the grounds and you don't need to be a resident. You also must check out the free Friday night fireworks display they do, short but beautiful watching from the beach. We also ate at Dukes for my birthday dinner, lovely food and love the self service salad bar 🙂
Great video. By the way, I've been on that submarine...anyone can go..it's called "Atlantis Submarines" and they take passengers for underwater tours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!
I went sea fishing twice while I was there back in 1975-1978. Went out until you couldn’t see Oahu, just water all around us. First time we didn’t catch anything. Second time we got lucky and caught some fish. Both times I got sea sick as hell 😂😂.
Thanks so much Adam for another beautiful day in Hawaii and I will say I loved the boat 🛥️ tour especially seeing the black fish also I loved the theming inside Dukes and the food didn’t look bad anyway I glad you and your family are having fun peace ☮️ out ✌️😊
Oh yeah, those malasadas you guys were eating is a Portuguese pastry brought over to Hawaii in the late 1800 by my ancestors, I'm Polynesian, Portuguese by ancestry, well both my wife and I are. Okay see ya down the road a hui hou
I love the beautiful veiw of the beach and the sunset at the end of the video. 🌺🌺🌺🌅🌴🌴🌴 I've never seen birds walking around in a restaurant like that before. Them little crumb snatchers.....😅😅😅❤ Glad you all are having a great time Adam and family. ❤❤❤😊
The real screen used S.S. Minnow in the shots of the marina and leaving the harbor, was rescued in terrible shape and beautifully restored. It lives here on Vancouver Island and they bring it out in summer. I've been on board and it's one of the coolest things I've expefrom my childhood 😁
We loved ouahu when we went last February. We stayed in Waikiki. We want to come back and do the North Shore side and stay at Aulani. Thank you for sharing. Now we know more things to do and places to go there.
Loved the video. The venue name back when Elvis performed was HIC (Honolulu International Center). Then it was changed to NBC (Neal Blaisdell Center). Currently it's just called Blaisdell Arena. Gotta love them MALASADAS. I see it's been AdamTheWoo Beard APPROVED!! LOL🤙
I love that you went to two Hawaii institutions of food !! I have not been but have definitely heard of them on the Food Network lol. Great video Adam🤙
When I was at Leonard’s in 2022 there was a fun tattoo studio across the street called “Sorry Mama”. Looks like it’s closed, but I thought you would get a kick out of that place if you saw it. Mahalo!
Leonard's has several malasada trucks/trailers around Oahu. They are painted with red and white stripes and also make malasadas to order. The closest one to Ko Olina is at Waikele Center. It is parked next to Petco along the freeway fence line and can be seen as you drive on H1.
I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️❤️
Hello how do you make such monthly ?? I'm a born Christian ✝️and sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God.❤️
Just be open-minded, and trust the process. Kate Elizabeth becherer will guide you every step of the way. And don't forget to share your testimony with others when you see the results!
I hope you go to the north shore, Haleiwa. The waves are a site to see with lots of surfing. shrimp food trucks (so good), and lots of shops along the Main Street. Also the dole plantation is located on the north shore. If you go back around Waikiki you should try the breakfast at Lulu’s Waikiki. Really good breakfast.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency directly across from the Duke statue and he had those leis every single day. He is loved and respected ❤️ so glad you got malasadas! We got them from Leonard’s too, coconut crème filled was my favorite! And glad you went into Waikīkī bay! I watched the sunset my first night at Waikiki and everyone was stopped and just staring out into the ocean, the sunset was unlike I’ve ever seen. Can you tell I miss Hawaii?! Glad you and the fam are having a great time!
The Beatles did the first satellite concert transmission. It was only one song though, so perhaps Elvis could claim a first. On 25th June, 1967, “Our World” aired - it was the first worldwide satellite broadcast ever attempted and it generated the biggest TV audience in history to that date. The Beatles used the transmission to premiere their new single: All You Need Is Love. They wanted to use this moment of the world’s undivided attention to send a message of peace.“That’s what it was for - peace and love.” - Ringo
Today, yes, I have another beautiful day of Central Florida snowbirding day of whatnot to doo 😊 but first I SHALL join my buddy, continuation of the excellent family Hawaii family vacation, Adam the Woo!! 🌺🌺😎
There are avenger fighter planes and dauntless dive bombers lost on the bottom near pearl and the channels. There is also a midget submarine and several Zeros and kate torpedo bombers there too. All remnants of Ww2. Also missing ships and planes are still lost that we haven’t discovered yet. I know a volunteer group is still working those waters as our boys need to come home. It’s trying to find a little tiny needle in billions of gallons of water and we don’t know how deep they go.
I got to travel to Hawaii for 10 years for work. My office was across the street from the harbor until around 5 years ago when the landlord ended our lease to put in condos. Miss the islands but not work.
Wait a minute……. Giligan’s boat leaving the harbor was done in Newport Beach, CA coming out of Balboa Bay. And the cove where the boat was washed up on was done there too (and Universal).
@ Ah yes - I just read that on Wikipedia! Never knew that. Here’s what else I found “The Minnow was named in reference to Newton Minow, chairman of the U.S. FCC, in response to Minow's landmark 1961 speech "Television and the Public Interest"; the speech lambasted television producers for producing, among other things, "formula comedies about totally unbelievable" characters and creating a "vast wasteland" of bad television”
Ah! Lenoard’s I ❤️ Malasadas! When picking up people from the Airport, I go to a Leonard’s truck in Pearl Ridge City Mall near the Aloha Bowl & Pearl Harbor. But the exit before Aulani there is another Lenard’s Truck in the parking lot of that exit! Get them warm to take back to Aulani ! 2 favorite Fast Food places are Zippy’s and Aloha Bar b Que!
I remember watching that Elvis special on TV live. I was 9 years old.Thank you very much, and I was in awe!
What awesome weather you all are having on this family trip❤🎉 Just looks so beautiful 🌴🤩
The color of that water is just beautiful I bet its amazing in person thank you for sharing Adam ❤

What an amazing view at sunset. Those Malasada’s looked delicious ♥️ xxx

With the sound of the water I could sleep on the patio

I kept saying I’m seasick as I sat in a recliner. But that was so beautiful

When I was at Leonard’s in 2022 there was a fun tattoo studio across the street called “Sorry Mama”. Looks like it’s closed, but I thought you would get a kick out of that place if you saw it. Mahalo!
Thanks for showing the Elvis statue!

You guys are getting a lot done! I miss Leonard's 😋
I remember watching the Elvis Aloha show when it aired.
Wow, congratulations on your financial breakthrough! Can you share more about the investment that's generating $47k every 3 weeks?
Hello how do you make such monthly ??
I'm a born Christian ✝️and sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God.❤️
That's amazing! I'm excited to start my journey with her. Do you have any advice for someone just starting out?
Just be open-minded, and trust the process. Kate Elizabeth becherer will guide you every step of the way. And don't forget to share your testimony with others when you see the results!
Honestly, I think she's an angel sent by God to help the needy. I'd love to get in touch with her and learn more about her services.
La marina sailing club the last of the tiki lounges! Great food and ambience.a must go if your still on Oahu
I love your Moms look when you asked her if she liked it!😂❤
Good to see that your sister and her husband were able to join you and your folks as well.🤗

I’m 99% sure my mother saw Elvis in Hawaii when she was in HS. I’m 💯 sure she saw his car go by while they were driving.
Duke’s on Sunday!! We did it a couple years ago. Was way more crowded than what you experienced.
You make me wanna go back to Hawaii Adam
Today, yes, I have another beautiful day of Central Florida snowbirding day of whatnot to doo 😊 but first I SHALL join my buddy, continuation of the excellent family Hawaii family vacation, Adam the Woo!! 🌺🌺😎
I have been to dukes many years ago I even have a photo of me by the dukes sign !!
Excellent video!
I went on one of those submarines when I went to Oahu. We went down 120 feet. It was a great experience!
There are avenger fighter planes and dauntless dive bombers lost on the bottom near pearl and the channels. There is also a midget submarine and several Zeros and kate torpedo bombers there too. I love seeing the chickens & chicks running around lol I would of gone for the buffet at Dukes lots of new foods to try!
Aloha Adam! What a good vlog.
The chicken crossed the road because there was food! Love it!
What a sweet ending, pun intended ❤
I got to travel to Hawaii for 10 years for work. My office was across the street from the harbor until around 5 years ago when the landlord ended our lease to put in condos. Miss the islands but not work.
If you get to go toward north shore be sure to check out the Greenwood Coffee farm
Wait a minute……. Giligan’s boat leaving the harbor was done in Newport Beach, CA coming out of Balboa Bay. And the cove where the boat was washed up on was done there too (and Universal).
The first season's opening was shot at Ala Wai Boat Harbor.
@ I’ll have to go back and take a look because I never heard that before.

So Gillian’s island was off of Hawaii? Elvis American trilogy is my favorite!! ❤

So do I ❤❤❤❤
Those malasadas SLAP!!
Duke’s on Sunday, perfect! Look up the song! Hope you tried the Hula Pie!

Would love to see a Blue Hawaii filming location video!

Awww I saw the Hilton Hawaiian Village where I stayed many years ago.
Good morning/afternoon Woo!
So glad you got Lenards malasadas! 😊
Dukes in Malibu on PCH. Great Sunday brunch. Met the real Gidget there. It was closed for a few days because of the fires in Malibu.
Here for the Hawaiian pigeons, and yay Leonard's, haha.
If he said his name was Captain Ron, I would have jumped ship! 🛥
How your mother answered you at the end of the video. Moment of the year!
Wow you really made hungry after eating a good breakfast.
Looks like a nice day for a 1 hour tour. Awesome submarine emerging from the water, sea turtles, and the piranhas
