Gert and Marolein. I ran out of words long ago in order to express what comfort and joy your concerts bring to me, particularly during all the lock downs we are experiencing in the UK. I have had no personal contact with any family member since last Christmas, so it is lovely that as a result of your live streams I can share with your on line family, all sharing your wonderful playing. You and Marolein should be declared National Treasures. Thank you for all you mean to us.

Gert and Marjolein, I absolutely adored this concert. Not only do I love the sound of this organ, but the program was outstanding. I've been listening to the KJM Fantasie over Psalm 108 a couple of times and it is now repeating in my head over and over again. The Dutch composers are such a delight. You have developed into a mature performing artist that brings endless joy to thousands of fans and for that I thank you!

Oh no David, I would never underestimate her hidden talents. It is a compliment because she is very organized and helps him tremendously as we all have witnessed. They are a team that is in sync with each other. And I think she is still pretty. 😊

Stunning indeed! Well said again Terry! This team has produced a colossal repertoire of some of the most beautiful music ever recorded. Every concert is a masterpiece in its own right. This concert was no different. You are so correct in noting how Marjolein is such a great registrant. You can see that she is Gert's rock. Whenever he runs stuck (like when searching for an english word) his eyes go immediately to Marjolein, and she is always right on top of it. She is critical in making sure each concert is a masterpiece!

Dank je wel voor weer een mooi concert, Gert! De Sarabande was voor mij deze keer het toppertje. Als luisteraar veer ik af en toe op van de verassende akkoorden die je in je improvisaties weggeeft. En je zou die Sarabande nog mooi met Conquest of Paradise kunnen combineren, het muziekstuk waarmee ik jou en je orgelspel leerde kennen. Compliment voor Marjolein ook: je had behoorlijk wat "werk" met de Sarabande.

I really like your interpretation of the Handel Sarabonde. I used it a lot when I first started playing organ. Adding onto it is within what was expected in Handel's day. He certainly borrowed and expanded on music written by his contemporaries (and likely hoped others would do the same with his music).

I know you play a lot of Tracker Organs, and they require strong fingers and arms because so much is coupled together with cables etc. But you get instant response if you have the strength to do it. Do you enjoy the more modern electric action organs that I see you play once in a while when on tour?
