Where would the world be without Mr Rutter. Heaven only can answer that question. We thank you unreservedly for the pleasure and calm that listening to your music brings in times of stress, anxiety, sadness and joy.
I love this piece! I was there one Sunday by chance when Rutter conducted a smaller choir--can't stop from singing this! May we all dwell in the house of God forever!
How people can put a thumbs down to such a sublime piece of music is beyond my comprehension. Great to see John conducting his Requiem around the world. Kudos to you Mistro Rutter!
One of the most beautiful pieces of music - and conducted by John Rutter himself! It gives me chills during the build up to the glorious “house of the Lord”.
It's been 17 years since I nominated John Rutter for British knighthood. Right from the start, I felt like I was on a mission from the Boss (God). I had never written such a letter before ... or since. I addressed my nomination letter to the Lady of the House, the house being Buckingham Palace. I had two goals in mind, based on my Dad's advice of many years ago: Keep it to one page, keep the paragraghs short. I mentioned the pride of my British roots. To my surprise, the letter reached the Queen's desk. I wrote John Rutter and told him what I had done. He thanked me for my effort, but was quite content to have the OBE he had been awarded the previous year.
Very calming worship music for my soul as we reflect on the on Jesus. His beauty in worship and calm reflection. Sweet endearing to one person's private listening for our soul. Happy God helped me find it.
You are very good and Rutter is a true genius! My choir sang "Candlelight Carol" with a new arrangment. Write this down on the research: you will love it for sure. Corale Novarmonia - Candlelight Carol (J. Rutter)
*PSALM 23* ---- 😍❤ lyric: *1.* psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. *2.* In green pastures he makes me lie down; to still waters he leads me; *3.* He restores my soul. He guides me along right paths for the sake of his name. *4.* Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me. *5.* You set a table before me in front of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. *6.* Indeed, goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for endless days.
Watching and listening from California. It is so rare to actually see John Rutter. Wonderful even though this is a huge chorus and not the Cambridge Singers who do not perform in public, but only record. My favorite chorus.
keeren banget !!! Jiwaku terangkat untuk memuliakan Tuhan Sang Gembalaku, telah mencurahkan darahNya untuk menebusku dan semua pendosa yang mohon pengampunanNya

There's something quite stirring when great words are set to music, and John Rutter understood that.
Glorious. Take me out of this world with such music.

Just love John Rutter’s music & conducting.

Goosebumps. A beautiful arrangement The oboist and harpist make a gorgeous accompaniment.
Gorgeous! What a privilege to see John Rutter directing!

I do not understand it but I just keep trusting my Good Shepherd because I know He will not lead me anyplace He does not want me to follow.

I really wish I saw the obeoist ! He played all these beautiful melodies and remained hidden?🤔😥
Musik yang indah.. terima kasih Tuhan telah memberi anugerah berupa keindahan melalui musik ini.. Tuhan memberkati dunia ini amin
Is there any instrumental music on this beautiful Ps 23 by John Rutter, I search long time, and wondered if there's any? thank you very much.
♊️The oboe is certainly enhanced by the harp and at times seems of one instrument.
more camera focus on the oboe.... it is almost its piece..after all
What a sweet calm music from the great Composer. But unfortunately the choir is not as good as the music.
I agree but hated to say it. The choir was just too big. Probably not a long seasoned emsemble like the Mormon Tabernacle.
Too many different pitches, some with vibrato and some without, and the microphones pick their voices up at slightly different times with the echo.
Beautiful music in the ugliest church in the world. Thank you Cardinal Mahony.
