Paris Honeymoon (1939) - Bing Crosby Full Movie

- This is a rare Bing Crosby film taken from a VHS-based file found on the internet. I have converted it from PAL's 25fps to the correct cinema speed of 24fps. Likewise the audio pitch was corrected to match the original cinema sound. The tone-curve was altered to bring back some highlight detail from a very contrasty transfer.
A big thank-you, however, to the original uploader who made it possible to see this film. No DVD release from Universal as yet, to the best of my knowledge, so enjoy this whilst it's here. Кино
What a fantastic movie! I wish we had stars like this, that we had movies like this and that we had a Hollywood that was full of grace and class.
Amen! Thanks be to God, we have these older movies. Someday such grace, reverence and class will return, we hope and pray!
This is a very enjoyable Bing Crosby film. He and my great grandmother were fifth cousins...never met him, of course, but a cool thing growing up knowing. I'm very grateful for people that value these old movies, and take the time to upload them for us.
Thank you so much for this wonderful movie!
A new revelation in the form of Paris Honeymoon, one of Bing's forgotten films, although I found it entertaining. Hope to find another lost Crosby flick. Thank you for presenting it.
He really sings so well... The best crooner ever...
What a wonderful way to spend New Year's Eve , watching Bing Crosby movies! Thank you for sharing this wonderful movie! Hopefully, 2022 will be a better year for all of us!
THEY ALL LOOK SO YOUNG WOW WHEN I SEE MYSELF IT MAKES ME SAD TO THINK WHAT TIME DOES AND HOW LITTLE TIME WE HAVE TO ENJOY. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS MEMORY
I am glad to have brought back some happy memories! Yes, our time is short and we must be in God's Hands so that we may joyful forever. Bless you, dear Sir!
Don’t be sad
We have the whole Eternity ahead of us
Just wish we weren’t that crazy busy our life on Earth
Thanks for sharing this enjoyable movie. You just can't beat 30's silliness.
Very rare, I have never seen it.
THANK YOU!!!!!
Many more PLEASE.
Franciska Gaal reminds me in parts of this movie of Irene Dunn! Love Irene Dunn and the movies she was cast in.
Cute movie thank you for sharing 🌷
Let me say thank you for making this movie available to us. I usually enjoy Bing's pictures -- Holiday Inn especially -- but "Paris Honeymoon" disappointed, despite Bing's crooning and the always-delightful Edward Everett Horton. Manya is an annoying, unlikable character, and Barbara doesn't do anything to "deserve" Lucky leaving her for Manya. Which makes Lucky a cad. That said, I laughed at the great pun "I Ain't Got No Body." And truly, thanks for making this and other shows available to us.
I have never seen such a terrible condition of swayback in a horse. My heart hurts for him.
Camera trickery (pre-CGI)
Wonderful Bing as usual .
I REMEMBER SEEING THIS FILM IN LONDON AS A YOUNG MAN IN THE EARLY 30.s THANK YOU FOR THIS MEMORY. :)):):)

I see that the website ok.ru has that film. Type in "Alexanders Ragtime Band 1938" into the search box. You might need to register at the site -- I can't remember.

I'd never heard of this film : the song ,
"Sweet little headache" was played on 'Angel Radio'
( based in southern England), on 18 February, 2018.
The film is charmingly corny, but still enjoyable.
☺
I wanted to watch something with ole time charm, and this has it big time. Thank you.
1939, was the golden year for all movies, this is just one of them. Great talented cast.
My father was a huge Bing Crosby fan. I don't think he ever saw this movie. I will watch it in his memory.
It is a good sign to be a huge Bing Crosby fan! :^D
God Bless you both! +JMJ+

Great work editing. Thank you.
Charming. Thank you very much indeed.
A charming movie with a strong support cast. Ben Blue and Edward Everett Norton make the movie...giving it pizzazz!
The story line is simple, but I really enjoyed it. Thanks,
A big thank you!
great to see Franziska Gaal again that German Hungarian comedian so sweet in "Katharine the last one" Katharina die Letzte
TIP: tone down the contrast on screen bit clearer viewing on the 👀
Costumes by Edith Head!
Crosby was a very handsome dude. He really had it all.
This is so awesome! Thanks so very much for this from a BIG Bing Crosby fan!!!!!!
You are very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it! God Bless :^D
Thank you!
Bing is great as always but it's easy to see why Franciska's career never took off. Edward Everett Horton in top form.
Thank you very much
Great thanks.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Superstar
Akim as a bartender. PERFECT!
BRAVO thanks for sharing
very very nice, thank you
You are most welcome! :)
Thank you
Crosby was always a cool customer.\
Found out I’m related to me Crosby - I was always obsessed with his movies and music when I was a kid. Now I know why
The original Seattle sound!
He popularized the use of microphone...
Bing Crosby is always so endearing. This isn't one of my favorites, though. Franciska Gaal's portrayal of Manya is just super annoying, while Shirley Ross is so much more likeable. I was rooting for her the whole time.
So I wasn't the only one! I felt sorry for Manya for about a minute. Then I really could not abide her.
That poor white horse with the sway back. 😟
He initiated royalties for music...
Very Good!!
oh boy - Edward Everett Horton in the thumbnail.
Very cute !
Absolutely the best.....🇬🇧💛💛💛💛
The Innocence before world war II. Wish that was still around.
Elizabeth Folsom You mean a US movie ignored the threat and mobilizations in Europe and the WWI destruction that led to it? That's your idea of innocence? If so, ignoring what is going on that is leading to disaster is alive and well and living in the US.
UNKNOWN CROSBY FILM IS NOT BAD.....
Moore more more please. I many a day wish I was born in this era. We don’t need Sex,Drugs, lies, deceit, violence, scandal, fowl language Exploitation to enjoy a great movie. Why aren’t producers able nowadays
Akim Tamiroff is sensational in this film, really terrific!! Ben Blue a delight especially in his pantomime moments, after all he was a silent film actor. When Bing sings, Bing sings, he is wonderful as always. I love Shirley Ross who was given a graceless part in this, but she is lovely when she sings, and ever so gorgeous in her bathtub scene when on the telephone, Her part should have been switched with the Rose Queen, who was beautiful throughout especially in the wedding scenes, and as always she is given special lighting. But is a terrible actress from my point of view. Give me a Shirley Ross performance any day. Tamiroff, Blue and the ever lovable Edward Everett Horton give some fine comedic moments, DoI like the movie as a whole? Not much.
Where did Evelyn keyes appeared in this movie?
What was in the drink??
Apologies, I meant to add Spoiler Alert to my comment below!
Charming, funny story 🤣
Rate 6

The sound is very bad, but enything with Bing is ok for mi. By the way it had a hart attack, en my city,Madrid. From Quensland. Pilar.
SORRY SHOULD HAVE SAID. LATE 30.s :)
I want to by cowboy hat soli deo gloria
Not my favorite Bing Crosby movie - and I absolutely adore him! I just didn't like the character of Manya, and didn't feel any desire to see them end up together. It's a fine, cute movie, just not one of the best.
BB CV h.
I enjoyed the movie but I sure didn't like the ending. Those 2 didn't belong together in my opinion. What a fickle man.
How strange that this “castle” is supposed to be in France and everyone has a Russian or Hungarian accent! 😂
How do you get to hell?
Very simple: claim that you're innocent.
How do you get to heaven?
Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy.
How to know if you're guilty or not?
Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible.
Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police.
Do not lie.
Do not steal.
Do not commit adultery.
Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word.
There are six more but let's just leave it at that.
How many lies have you told in your life?
Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you?
Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman.
How many times a day do you do that?
Do you use God's name as a cuss word?
Would you do that with your own mother's name?
If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty.
God can justly punish you and send you to hell.
Ask him for mercy.
His name is Jesus.
It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine.
The fine is death.
Ezekiel 18:20 -
"The soul who sins shall die.
That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy.
Option A.
You die for your own sins.
Option B.
Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you.❤❤
BING😊
THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE
BING😊
