Wonderful film, I just wish the whole film was presented, including with the credits so I could have seen who starred in it besides Bing Crosby who I have great respect and admiration for and for his films…one great and very talented actor….I did happen to recognize Fabian though, handsome guy…lol. I love the ending and what Bing said, it rings true, because I had gone to college in my elder years and had experienced the same type of ridicule from my family as Harvey did in this film…they were against me going and never thought I would accomplish anything. They told me I was making a big mistake. The only ones that actually stood by me were my 2 sons, everyone else thought I was foolish for trying. BUT IN SPITE OF IT ALL ….I GRADUATED WITH FLYING COLORS AND AVERAGED a B GRADE IN MY STUDIES….PLUS BOTH MY SONS WERE AT MY GRADUATION…I GRADUATED WITH A BACHELORS DEGREE IN SCIENCE, S&T(SOCIETY AND TECHNOLOGY), PTC(PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL COMMUNICATIONS) MAJORS…It was one of my most memorable experiences….I graduated in spite of all the opposition, the rhetoric, laughter behind my back, and lack of support from the rest of my family members, including my sisters and husband at the time, who were against everything I was doing, besides friends I thought actually cared about me, who proved it otherwise. I was 52 when I graduated from college, and loved every minute of it…. I accomplished something that was special in my lifetime.….if it wasn’t for this 80 year old woman going for her masters degree, and giving me courage to stick it out, telling me “If I can do, so can you” I may have quit my studies, but she gave me the courage to stay on track and gave me the incentive I needed to stay with my classes and to graduate…...God bless those willing to give someone a chance to succeed, while all others want them to fail….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰✝️😇
Very impressive. I'm so glad that it all worked out for you. It's a crying shame that most of us have haters and doubters in our friends and family circles, but don't ever let them try to bring you down or sidetrack you from what you're trying to accomplish. Which you did. Cheers and congratulations! Man, getting through college is no easy feat, either financially or academically, let me tell you. And I, too, wished that the post of this film had the film's credits included as well. So far, halfway through this movie, I've spotted Yvonne Craig (Batgirl from 1960's Batman T.V. Show), Tuesday Weld (The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis), 1950's/1960's rock and roll icon, Fabian, and a young Gavin MacLeod (Capt. of 1970's THE LOVE BOAT T.V. show).
The opening credits have been cut almost entirely. There are also chunks of plot missing. I haven't seen this in decades and have been anticipating its appearance on RUclips. Crafty, clever and thoroughly entertaining! Episodic and full of sight gags, but that's half its charm.
Wait a minute. Wasn't Tuesday Weld on THE MANY LOVES OF DOBIE GILLIS?...Hey, yeah, she was!...LOL...Glad to see her here in this movie! Very cool! And she's still with us at 81 years young! What a career!
Wait. Isn't the chemistry professor a young Gavin MacLeod from the 1970's THE LOVE BOAT television show? What a talented actor he was! He could do it all, comedy and drama.
That's a shame. This was a wonderful movie. I saw it several years ago. A restaurant magnet wants his college education. Whoever cut it up just ruined it.
I was the same age as Bing says, 50s, when I went to university. No one thought it was that unusual. Maybe we're a little less regimented in Australia.
The beginning expresses the rigidity of thinking at that time in the early 60’s when they couldn’t believe a middle aged person might enrol as a freshman at university. That type of thinking disappeared years ago as many older people have enrolled in college when they had the opportunity. I remember those times though I was a little kid.
Wait. This totally reminds me of BACK TO SCHOOL with Rodney Dangerfield back in the 1980's. Almost the same plot, sort of. Just no Rodney Dangerfield and no Sam Kinison, of course. LOL..LOL..
Splendid. Exelent. Classic. Comedy. Movie. Perfect. On. To. See. 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊👌 many. Thanks. Miss. Ilaha. Music. 👌💋💋💋👌😊
Really enjoyable❤😂
Thoroughly enjoyed this film!
Thank you for posting this movie as I have been looking for it for years. Since it has been years i have no idea what has been cur 🙂
A cute wonderful old film. Thanks!

Another movie I have never seen. Lovely!
Evidently its another one YT butchered.
You still haven't seen it.😉
I love this movie haven't been able to find it for a long time

Chunks of plot -- buried but exposed to vultures?

Such fitness and hunks-need more

Difficulty removing all the restaurants clinging to him.

Fabian, so gorgeous💕💕💕
I thought so toooooooooo❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
How can someone enjoy a film with parts of it edited out?
Be drunk. Smoke dope.
Alternatively, spend money or otherwise recognize that youtube is not the real world.
Since I have never seen the movie before. It looked fine to me…
Longer version on retro movies channel
You mean the complete movie? Thank you!
Beginning credits were completely cut out. What else is missing?
A Bing Crosby vanity film , about the old groaner acting like a youth . Made after his marriage to much younger Kathryn .
Wait. This totally reminds me of BACK TO SCHOOL with Rodney Dangerfield back in the 1980's. Almost the same plot, sort of. Just no Rodney Dangerfield and no Sam Kinison, of course. LOL..LOL..
FFS! You cut the credits off... with that fabulous Mancini score! Philistine!
💚🙏😇🙏💚
Innocent title at start of 60s !
0.0 20. She say bloody fool? Surprised that got past censor 1960 !
Watch Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield instead. Same premise
Two entirely different decades.
Why if this is the original?
@@sandyjuntunen4088 because Rodney Dangerfield is funny. Unless you don't like a laugh
I'll say it again. Yvonne Craig was fine!
Seeing Bing Crosby in a dress, wearing a wig and dolled up in women's makeup wasn't funny to me. They could have left that part out of this movie.
I made it 21 minutes, but it's just too silly for me. Moving on.
Of course it is silly. What could you possible think it wasn’t going to be?
talking about chopping up a good movie.....wow
You cut a lot, for sure, oh my 😢
❤️🩹🤍🤍🤍🤍📽️📽️📽️
In dieser spritzigen Komödie singt Bing Crosby kein Wort. Doch er macht sonst so einiges mit.
He does sing a song @1:11:15.
Commercials 👎
Ues this is what the americans call “humor” very sad..
What the ******(👎
