I am short -- looks like you may be also. I am only 5'1 and I have restricted range of motion in my knees. I can only bend my knee about 10 degrees beyond normal sitting position (90 degrees - so I can only do 100 on one knee and 110 on the other) Is this going to work for me?

You can buy another battery and swap them out one at a time. I get just short of 18 miles of range on mostly flat terrain using throttle with this one battery. Of course you can pedal all day long if you desire. Top speed is around 12 mph on battery on flat ground, but I have rolled downhill up to 16 mph. Frankly I wouldn't want to go any faster or more than just around the neighborhood a few miles at a time. If you wish to go further or ride faster, I recommend and prefer a e bike... I am not aware of Liberty selling another battery for this Liberty e trike although they sell e bikes and other e trikes with different batteries...

Mine has held up well with a few small pot holes. This trike is well built using steel... Of course I do not intend to wreck it through a large pot hole... By no means is this a motocross bicycle... The cotter pin is heavy steel, and is rugged enough for residential streets and sidewalks... The front wheel and motor is built in a different factory than the back wheel of the trike, handlebar, and seat... Therefore the two major parts with the cotter pin connection...

cotter pins and latches...why did they make the frame in two pieces...look like a bump or pot hole would destroy that bike.
