Dickey with a whammy bar on his '57 Les Paul. Gotta love the '80s!

Dicky carried a lot of weight back in those days. Dan was a great compliment to him.

@88Gibson LesPaul Rumor has it in some quarters that Dickerson could be difficult, but there is no doubt he and the Tolers were favorites. He had them work with his Great Southern band for many a year. I'm always happy when I come across videos, especially those featuring Dan. He and Dickie's seemed especially attuned to each other. Somewhere to be found (Sorry I cannot recall the source) is a charming story of how Dan hung up on Dickey several times because he thought the caller was playing a joke; and it was only because Dickey persisted and called him back with the offer to join his band that avoided a narrowly missed opportunity that brought these magnificent guitarists together.

Love Dickey & the Brothers but I hate when Dickey fucks around on his songs before he finally gets to actually playing them. You arent EVER gonna make it better and he ends up ruinning the whole fucking thing when he does that!

If you know anything about Dickey that is part of who he is musically has been doing that forever I love it as I know he's just warming up to tearing it up shortly. Sorry man I totally diss agree with you
