    • @mil4672
      @mil4672 2 года назад +65

      @@kerryperryman3025 She did win the free! In the final standings, there was only a 0.54 points difference between them and Isabeau got higher PCS than Jia in the free! The problem was that a lot of Isabeau's jumps had problems such as underrotations, wrong edge on the flip and lutz and excessive pre-rotation that were not called for properly. Although I do recognise that Jia also had lutz edge problems that were not called, Isabeau's problems were far more and none of it called except for an unclear edge call on her flip, which should have gotten negative GOE but she received positive GOE lol. If both were called for their mistakes, Jia would have won.

    • @harveygirl95
      @harveygirl95 2 года назад +5

      Disagree. Isabeau had the advantage in the SP which ultimately won her the title. Jia had the better jumps and was appropriately scored in GOE but Isabeau received higher levels for step sequences and spins which edge out Jia just slightly. Isabeau also had two Loop combos which have a higher base value. They are both beautiful skaters with great assets (just different) and a refreshing change from Russians.

    • @mil4672
      @mil4672 2 года назад +44

      @@harveygirl95 Yes Isabeau had the advantage due to her sp score which contributed to her placing so high! But I still think that if the free was scored accordingly to the *rulebook* Jia would have won the free with a bigger margin from Isabeau, and in the end would have won the gold. And yes they're both beautiful, talented girls and I can only wish them the best!☺

    I agree 💯 percent with the commentator about her technical component skills in which she was rewarded for the technical component score was 74.74 and received as her overall score of 206.01, after the short program in which she was in third place. She moved up from third place to second place after the first place skater performed a better program overall. First place skater performed very well in the short program and had to maintain that lead if you know about it. Lindsey put the pressure on the top three medal contenders and they would have to develop the goods- both technical and artistic component skills of the interpretation of the music 🎵🎶. Everyone performed. Everyone skated the free program without mistakes. J. of Republic of Korea won the technical component skills, but not 🚭🚫 the artistic component skills to carry her over, she was temporary in first place after Lindsey of the USA. Both medal contenders have to make errors with their free program for her to win totally and depend on the placement of each in the short program that definitely decided and determined the outcome. Therefore, you have to know what the judging is in the technical component skills and composition component skills, but the skaters must have both!! Her score of Korea was 206.01 and the score of USA was 206.11 whom had a good lead coming to the free program, and that is one of the reasons why she won fairly, adequately and precisely. Research it yourself. Therefore, the commentator was right. If the winner made mistakes in her free program than J. of Korea would have won, but she didn't which caused her to win the title. Congrats to the winner 🏆, second 🥈 winner, and third 🥉 winner of the World 🌎🌍 Junior Skating Championships for the women's competition.

      That’s a lot of words to say nothing. Isabeau had multiple under-rotations that should have resulted in a q or downgraded jumps. Isabeau’s lz-eu-sal combo should also have been invalidated. The euler was improperly performed and the salchow should not have been counted in combination. It should maybe have been a jump sequence which counts for less points even if the rotations are fine, and they were not.

      @@coconutgelato7459 Since you are responding to me, I wrote down when the commentator said, short program matters. J of Korea was in Third place after the short program. For her to win the entire thing, the American will have to faltered in her entire free program, she didn't. J of Korea outscored her slightly in the free program, but the American, and it was closed had beaten her (J of Korea) less than .10 of a point. Korea 206.01 and the American 206.11 because of the Short Program!!! J of Korea out skated her country skater to obtain 2nd place. Review the short program and the free program without being biased. J of Korea is rewarded for her technical component skills, but she is very young, and needs to work on her artistic component skills as all of them for the senior level. Just saying. You feel that J of Korea was better, than that is your point of view, but I agree 💯 percent with the commentator and the judging which was better than the Olympics!!!

      @@coconutgelato7459 I will go over my notes. But the point is she won. According to the commentator, and the rest of the judges, she won. Isabeau was great in her short program and was rewarded. Shin scored higher in the free program technically, won the long program over Isabeau technically so the trajectory of the competition since you must know about the technical component skills more than the judges and commentator, Isabeau made her triple -triple jumps over rotated because of the height and the timing, and that is why Shin was better. Your overall score of Isabeau was better, because I got their scores very close to make it a great competition. If it was cheating involved, the Republic of Korea Figure Skating Federation and coaches would reported it, but it wasn't. It was fair, precise, and adequate for the short and free programs. The judges could review technical component skills and composition component skills on their computers. That's why they announced three judges for the technical component skills and they rewinded and reviewed timing, height, and rotation of all technical component skills and most importantly, the clean landing of the jumps. Jai Shin of Korea was better and cleaner in her technical component skills, and she was rewarded with a higher technical component score in which you haven't reported, but gave me USA overall score instead which I found very interesting 🤔 on your part. 😳, You were right about Shin's placement after the short program. Her score was 69.38, and would be competing in group 4. Jail Shin skated a good free program technically, triple -triple jumps were flawless and well executed cleanly: and she was rewarded with a higher technical component score of 74.52 better than Isabeau 's score of 70.84 in which Jai Shin's advantage was 3.68 ahead of Isabeau 's technical component score. Jai Shin's performance of the free program was well executed. Great competition 👍!
