My ap1 spun a bearing in the block right before hitting that 200k mark , currently rebuilding the f20c for turbo also upgrading all the oem flaws and trust me there are a handful! Great video !!
Thanks for the support my friend. I am not popular by being honest, so many seem to want to believe the hype on the tuning mod boxes. There's more to come on this great car.
00 Ap1 here. I'm staying stock+. Would like to invest in a Recaro, ap2 rims, catback. thats it. I had the retainers and oil jet bolts replaced with the Ap2 variants to protect the F20. I just want to get in it and drive.. makes me smile just the way it is
Going non staggered was an immense improvement in handling. Good brake pads on stock brake calipers was excellent even for track as long as cooling ducts are installed. Stock header isn’t a major restriction on stock block cars .
Always wanted a Mazda RX-8 when I was younger but with the problems a rotary engine comes with, I did look at an S2000 alternatively (insurance ended that idea), awesome car =)
Just got a 1999 honda s2000 it's in roughy shape just want to daily it atm later on whenever I'm financially stable lol i want to track the car if not that then showcase the car one or the other
You have an appreciating classic on your hands. There are few cars which leave the factory so well sorted and setup. I hear they are bringing back the S2000 name - have you heard about this? Will it beat the original? I think not.
@TheCaffeinatedDrive I think he's getting at, he's only modded to the extent that it's a cheap fix to put it back to standard. Stereo and coilovers, although I have seen some install a 7 inch screen in the dash that I'm guessing, would devalue it. Although having a moden entertainment system and maps will be a plus for the ladies 🚺 😀
@@torquecars I have it for about 4 Months now. The previous owner literally kept it in a time vault. 2000 AP1 with only 24k miles. Immaculate. I want to upgrade it but I got a lot of push back.

Not enough Oil?
Was surprised about the amount of accurate info in this video, enjoyed it.

Don't forget the US for the CR trim with the OEM hardtop!

Whatever stiffens the chassis is the best mod.
I left my 2002 S2000 stock. I refuse to devalue it by modifying it.

@@torquecars and they will ruin it like the new supras by making it a clutch less paddle shifters. S2000 is the last great analog sports car
Only mods on my 04: sound system and Ohlins coilovers
@@KuyaOlythat still devalues the car

Hondata does not support the s2000/f20c/f22
So explain why I run Hondata on my ap2
Bone stock atm
That sounds like you have plans for it then. You had it long?
