I love that this video is getting people to share the story of their names. I’m reading them all!! You can also find the recipe for no knead focaccia here: daenskitchen.com/wild-garlic-rosemary-focaccia/
my parents named me and then 2 days after they left the hospital, they called my great aunt and told her my name. Turns out it's coincidentally the same name as my great great great grandma!
I was named after the actor for the pink power ranger. My mom just wanted it to be a different spelling, so it was given a French spelling. Coincidentally my middle name is from an anime character.
While pregnant in the mid-1960s my mom saw in the society pages of the local newspaper photos of a young couple dancing at some sort of debutante ball. He was wearing tuxedo shorts and she was named Candace. And that’s how I got my name.
Omg, we share name !! I'm named Donna because my father admired a well known singer from my country, he has a picture that was dedicated to me by her. ❤
Aww!! my name is Phoebe and I ended up married to a greek man. The greeks call me Fee-Vee, which I think is so beautiful. Ive never heard the italian pronunciation though haha
That’s awesome, my parents named my siblings and me after towns/cities in Texas, despite the fact they have never been to Texas nor do they have any connection to the state
LOL i was born and raised in texas and know a family that did this with their boys. they had three boys and a girl, and the girl was named “elle,” so we always joked that her middle name was probably “paso” to keep with the theme 💀
Delicious looking sandwich! A friend of mine told me she was named when her parents looked out of the window of the hospital and saw a boat named Donna on the river. 😂
in a popular child magazine at the time, there was a section with short poems about names. my mum read a poem about my name when she was 7 and then and there she decided her daughter will be called that. she knows the poem by heart to this day, almost 50 years later!
I was named after a ship (longliner). Well I named after my grandma and great aunt but my parents didn't decide yet how to combine the names. Then one day they walked besides the ships in the harbour and saw my name on one. My sister has a ship-name as well.😅
I had a pomeranian named Pheobe, my mom named her after one of the characters from the TV show about 3 witch sisters called "Charmed". I remember her watching it before I went to school in the morning, back in the 2000s.
I have not had a short get an audible reaction out of me for a while but that delectable decadent delightfully crafted masterpiece of ingredients made me sit up and gasp in awe at its glory. Perhaps I should eat.
Aw! What a cute story. Although Phoebe would have been cute too. But your name is cute and it fits you. I think you are the only one I've heard of with that name.
I love when names have cute stories! I only got mine because it was the only one my parents would agree on. They hated every suggestion each other had and just finally settled 😂😂😂😂
First pregnancy: dad was “This WILL be her name” but had little opinion on boy names. Just a veto of my first choice. First baby was a boy. 😃 (good. Because I didn’t like the way the full name flowed) Second baby: same story except he vetoed my first _and_ second choice boy names, citing a bully at school as one reason. His chosen girl name flowed even _worse_! Second baby was also a boy. 😄 I quit while I was ahead 😂😅
it wouldn't be portuguese, it would be brazilian, those are different edit: the comment implies they are talking about HERITAGE, therefore if they're from brazil the heritage is BRAZILIAN not PORTUGUESE, i'm not talking about the language. also, as someone said before, they're talking about the wax style
My name was destined to be Rosie, my mum said that she named me after a book-“Cider with Rosie” & my dad said that HE named me after some old folk song! 😂
Me and my sister have the exact some initials, and my mom planned it. My mom knew since she was little that she’d have 2 girls and 2 boys. My name is Brianna, and my sister’s name is Brissa (both with double s and n) and both our middle names starts with D, and we have the same last name. My dad named my younger brothers, so they don’t match, but it’s fun anyway.
I am not commenting very often But after I watched your videos I must comment I think You have one of the best channels on you tube. You are excellent and theres absolutely no faults. Thank you and Good Luck
This looks so good! Mom decided on my name because she was a fangirl. There was a show called “Hart to Hart” and she liked the character Jennifer in it 😊 Thanks mom for my fandom obsession tendencies!
@@luckas221aNot your buddy, I’m not a guy. Brazilian language is Portuguese not Spanish. Brazilian waxing kits, regardless of where purchased are Portuguese. That’s all.
@@Sldoficnhow are you not understanding this? "Brazilian" refers to a type of waxing, not where the kit is from. Is "Sally Hanson" a French name because the brand sells french manicure kits?
A waxing kit isn't so bad. Try a brand name for toilet paper.😂 My dad thought that was a good name for me (named after my grandmother) until he found out it was a brand of toilet paper. Good thing he changed his mind and named me a different name.
My mother was EXTREMELY religious and wasn’t supposed to be able to have children. So when she finally had me- she was horribly horribly sick the entire pregnancy, spent a lot of her time in the hospital, and we almost didn’t make it. But we did! So she named me “Hannah Faith” after her favorite Bible story- where an infertile woman named Hannah is blessed with a child through her strong Faith. I’m not actually religious and don’t follow any kind of spirituality, but I still think it’s beautiful how my mother found my name ❤
Oh if you knew how expensive olive oil is costing in Brazil right now... If you lived here you were probably on the streets protesting and causing a commotion

That is such a beautiful name and a beautiful sandwich. The garlic, the balsamic, the cheese of many kinds, the arugula and olive oil and everything- the honey! It looks so good. Burrata is one of my comfort foods! I like to split it open, scoop the insides out and eat them just on their own and then take the outer part and melt it on sourdough.
This looks HEAVENLY. I also appreciate that this is a very satisfying, relaxing and aesthetically pleasing video but you’re not whispering at me 😂 like I hate when creators try to make relaxing videos but they’re talking super quietly

What’s your name? My mum named me after Angelina Jolie as she was very famous in the 90s and 2000s and my mum loved her
My mother named me Phoebe because of the show Friends..most people in my country mispronounce it but I'm used to it.

Is it Spanish heritage though when the name is after a Brazilian waxing kit? Wouldn’t that be Portuguese?
Not really, the brand is from Barcelona.
“Brazilian” is the STYLE of wax, not the origin of the kit.
