Rise up men of Rome! We shall reclaim our birthright and rebuild the greatest Empire the world has ever known! and don't forget the algorithm demands sacrifices if you're enjoying the campaign!
Hello friend. good game, and good battles too. I have a lot of suggestions for this campaign, but I will try to keep it as brief as possible and keep some suggestions for the next episodes: first: this is a bit too late, but you could've capture the city of Constantinople in the first turn: all you had to do is to assemble your two armies and attack Constantinople from the sea: and there you go: you've captured Constantinople in the first turn. second: you won't be rebuilding the Roman empire: after capturing Constantinople and forming the Byzantine empire: you'll be asked to reform the Roman empire which will be in fact the eastern Roman empire. third: try to get the royal family members married: you will need a strong bloodline to rule the empire, also try to put the royal family members as govrnors and generals so you can keep the balance pf power in the royal court to your favour and avoid loyalty problems from the nobles from outside the royal family. fourth: in the research tree: I suggest that you unlock next the technology that allows you to get the level 3 castle: that will give you access to some very good unique elite units. fifth: if you capture a new city and you leave it without a garrison: the enemy could just walk in and take the city without a fight with just a one unit army: if you have to move your army from a newly captured city city and leave it without a garrison: just put a governor in the city or raise a one unit army in the city: that will hold off the enemy attack on the city at least for one turn until you will rescue the city: if you have reached the maximum of governors: just remove a governor from anothr city and assign a new one to the city without a garrison, and you can always remove a governor or a one unit army general from a besieged city if you don't want him to die. sixth: in one of the coming events: the AI will ask you to pay for the maintenance of the Greek fire: whenever the game asks you to do that: just accept and py the money even if you don't have money: that will still work, because there will be a nice Greek fire thrower unit available for recruitment if you acquire the greek fire. and finally; good luck.
I found this channel only recently and I'm so glad I did. Loving all the campaigns, esp the Tsardoms ones. Really excited for this one too, one of my fav mods.
RUclips's algorithm for search is so terrible I was looking up a campaign almost exactly like this and had to jump through 18 search filter hoops justify this awesome content exactly what I was hoping for
I appreciate a lot your byzantine campaign on this lovely mod, because you are the only one that i see whose play it on very hard and you are a good narrator too.
I have done many play throughs making Rome great again. Excited to see how you do it! I have a suggestion to change your format a bit. If you could start each episode with a zoomed out view of the total map to show where you are, discuss your progress until then and discuss your strategic plan for the episode. And how it ties into the overall plan.
Love your vids mate, really like the campaigns and factions you choose. Im currenlty doing a Western Roman Empire on Attilla Legendary. Its so frustrating lol.
It seems like you didn't check out character's traits before making them governors. You should do it, because the wrong person as a governor can even reduce public order in Attila total war:)
Ohh noo...are most of your battles cav chess mostly, I'm not hating your just being yourself and competitive... I just don't want to keep wasting my time looking through the playthroughs as none rude as I can make that sound

i like how your strategy for taking Constantinople is literally how the Empire of Nicaea di it in real life
I love that I keep accidentally doing things like this xD
There was once a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... it was so fragile.
It's always good to see rome expand , i think about it every day
Everyday is Rome Day
I want to revive Byzantine Empire as Trebizond because there are Komnenoi, true heirs to the throne. But Nicaea is fine too, thanks for the video!
I agree too

Glad you found the campaign man! Hopefully you enjoy it!
You deserve more subs and views man, keep up the good work!
Thanks man!

The first time I see Attila on this channel (I'm following for 2+ years now :D)
I did a hre campaign forever ago in this mod but it definitely has been a bit xD
Yes I remember Attila, always feels as if survival is the hardest challenge
The intro music hits hard.
Time to restore Rome once again
I love 1212. Please, do more of it!
Gladly!
I have done many play throughs making Rome great again.
Excited to see how you do it!

For the glory of ROME!
I'm sure Anthony will be most happy once Venice is destroyed.
Especially since the sacking of Constantinople was only like 8 years from the start of the game.
Love the thumbnail!
That mediaeval 3 right there
This is a good mod, i can't wait to see this campaign.
i have reformed the roman empire to the heights of the OG empire!
The true sons of Rome will rise!
Rome is popular now. Make Rome Great Again!

Oh I thought I did? But I'll be trying to keep that in mind for future governors!
It really surprised me how fast you talked at the start there😂
As Aurelian did before, the world will be restored once again, were Justinian failed we will succes ROME WILL RISE AGAIN
Waiwaiwaiwait..... 1212ad has a campaign now..?
Also like how they added intro-cutscenes
Trebizond is best Byz faction, but this is still cool
yes 1212 ad
For the algorithm!
How many times a day do you think about Rome?
The better question is when am I not?!
How did you get your seasons to work properly?
I use a 4 turn per year mod! Just put it before all the 1212 files load order
What is the status of this Mod? Does it feel incomplete or does it feel as though it is a nearly finished mod?
It certainly feels a lot better than last time I played it!
How often will this campaign be updated?
Twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays!
At least here I’m the first one, unlike with my girlfriend
Do you use any mods?
Besides the medieval kingdoms 1212 mod, I only have a 4 turn per year mod active for this campaign.
@@Rampaned no ai mods?
