2:41 - 2:46, that rpm limiter is T.O.R.S, in the event of a stuck or jammed throttle cable the T.O.R.S will activate to stop your sled from taking off without you
Thats what I thought it was too, but we were able to confirm the throttle cable could freely move and return closed with no issue. Kinda had us stumped. Hence why we towed it out.
Sweet video, bummer on the Mountain Max. TORS(Throttle OverRide System) was why it wouldn’t rev up. Safety feature for this exact situation. You can disable it by simply disconnecting the 2 wires coming from the carbs.
Those 700 triplet Yami's rip, and sound great with Aaen pipes! If you can find em, Deckers sound good also. There's another brand that I can't remember the name of. I had a set on a 4cyl Yami Vmax Bender pipes, I just remembered! Lol getting old the ole memory ain't what it use to be!...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇲🤠
@@FeederCountry yes it was! Supposedly the 800 in it was built by Tim Bender himself! It SCREEMED, but the suspension sucked, and was HEAVY as hell once you got off trail in the powder! You had to ride these old sleds like a stand-up, or X2 Kawacker, jet ski's! DON'T stop in deep snow unless you do 4 or 5 laps around to pack the snow up before you stop. If you don't, you'll be stuck. When you stop, or when you try to take off. Also remember the track lengths we were dealing. 118"-121"short trackers, 136" was a long track. And the lugs varied from 3/4"-2" for special sleds if you had room in the tunnel. Sad day's 😔 back then!..lol...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
@@FeederCountry it's one of 4 Yami sleds I've ever owned. When I first started sledding. I had 3 white/red stripe Yami 433's. The kicker was 2 of the 3 would run on any given day. However it wasn't the same 2 everyday. It was like 3card Monty with sleds. I would just give each one a yank 4 or 5 time's and the first 2 that ran got ridden! Those soak your 🏀ball's in gasoline ⛽️ tiliston carburetors were something special also..lol...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
@@FeederCountry I had a buddy with only one ✋️ hand that had the 700 tripple! He had a metal circle he used when sledding on his left side, he'd slip it over the bar end, and ride like hell..lol...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠

So in this situation you just unplug the tors and loop it back into itself and it will allow u to ride it
