I swear that I have watch this video over and over from part one to three many times so that I can remember them but I have the hunger to know more of you can do that for me bodd
People talk about Messi's dribbling, finishing, passing etc. But to me his most important ability that doesnt get enough credit is his intelligence. Messi is by far the most logical player in football history. He analyzes every movement before even receiving the ball. This is why you can breakdown even something like his turn of pace or dribbling to a science like in this video. There is a rationale behind his decision. This is why SAF once said Messi plays the game like we play Playstation. What makes Playstation easy for casual gamerss the bird eye view we get. We can properly analyze every move from the top so it makes us easier to plan out an attack. Also why sometimes we get frustrated at players for not making the simplest past forward etc, they dont get our bird's eye view so a pass that seems obvious for us from the TV screen isnt as obvious when you only have a lateral view on the pitchy.. But, Messi is the only player who almost has the same bird eye view when he gets the ball. He knows exactly where to get space, and when to make the right pass. This is why too us it makes no sense how he can casually go pass 5 players like it was nothing.
Yep, well said. I typically refer to that as the perceive-process-act chain. Messi's ability on the former 2 is just unheard of and he's able to take the snapshot, execute his action and then do it all over again immediately
Pretty sure he did all that. He always knows exactly every defender spot. The instinct u talked is based on his thinking and analizing and learning of situations when he doesn't on field, for years. It's hard to take ball of him in legit way. Sorry for bad english, lol
@@ladymaria9529 He seems to be naturally gifted with mental stability and physiological balance PLUS an extrem level of intuition (which is basically skipping logical analysis steps on speed).
@@OezgeSebisteri i didn't say that he does that on the field, all the process. Same thing to chess GMs, they know exactly which piece to move first 4-5 moves in miliseconds. It becomes intuition after spent years memorizing thousands of matches. His body is always so aligned, it’s so beautiful. I have been studying and watching him for over a year and am starting to play like him, but it is so hard, especially because his body movement and coordination come natural to him. True genius! 😍
To an extent sure but Messi has credited a lot of his game to how he played growing up, specifically with his older brothers in really narrow alleyways
You are absolutely right.I have devised a technique called representational transformation technique RTR by learning this any above average budding passionate footballer can play like messi.
I will say words alone can not describe how GOATED messi is. He has been training his playstyle, skills, and game for decades. We will not see another player like messi ever again. Messi was destined to be a legend the day he was gifted to this world he has been wowing everyone with intelligence ever since he was just a kid. Messi is simply the GOAT I am honored to be able to watch him and to revolve my game around his. I know I wont be as good as messi but I will try to play just like him and do my best.
This video is so on point, thanks for making it! I see a lot of people crediting messi's ability to his body but I just don't buy that because if it was true everyone with a body similar to messi's would be as good as him.. He is just a genius.

He also baits defenders into a tackle a lot. All the videos of his dribbling skills and you wonder why the defenders go for the ball then always fail. Messi always keeps the ball at a perfect distance where it looks like the defender can take it but in reality they can't.
