    He made his shortcomings his strength......he has definitely great skillset.....he does the simple things that work not flashy dribbles which just looks good but not functional.

      very true. people think flashy is always better but that is not the case.

    • @thatonecloud.
      @thatonecloud. 3 месяца назад +6

      problem is nowadays there is not flashy, the flair with players like Ronaldinho has gone extinct, the Brazil team is not what is used to be, club football is now all about tactics and memorizing game plans, less opportunities for players to express themselves.

    For a man to process all that information, they need to be in a deep zen state and super focused. Every cell in Messi's body is pure football and nothing else. He doesn’t even waste it on talking or disappointment.. just processing and learning

    Chasing my potential did a video on this as well, breaking down that exact dribble during the Copa Del Ray final. There was also a doctor who made a 3 part series breaking down why Messi is so good from a mental and athletic perspective. I like how people are finally seeing how Messi’s dribbling is more than just running and small touches with the ball. Messi himself said he was never comfortable with doing skill moves like Dinho, so he stuck to body feints

    He shoots in between from like 3 or 4 person so the goal keeper view is disturb. And he don't hit hard most of the time messi aims and smoothly shot hence the Goal keeper mpst times sees the ball only when it's too late.
    Thats the reason why Messi everytime time scores with such elegance and control and beautiful game to watch

    Ive always had this thought about playing tag but everyone had to keep the ball next to their feet, would this be a good training method or no? I played tag a lot as a kid and i found that it gives you the instincts to know when to run past people and when to go in and tag people could this be applied to football?

    I don’t think we, the humans will ever get to know how Messi can dribble like that. I doubt he’d even know himself. The world already be told his dribble ability is a gift from GOD at birth, the rest could develop along the experience, the truth is he doesn’t have to learn anything to catch up, but rather tune down his pace to adapt his teammates. There are two types of players who are better suited to play with Messi. 1: Good at control & never lose the ball, so Messi can run into the positions and score efficiently. 2: Rarely waste the opportunity created by Messi and score when Messi is pinned. We, dumb human should stop analyzing the GOAT but wish GOD grant us another one.

    Stop with the lower center of gravity bullshit, it seem like a perfect Cristiano fans excuse. Watch countless small players fall every time they get touched or pushed and fake a huge pain. Almost every player dives whenever they feel the slightest touch, but Messi don't. Messi doesn't dive, he just wants to play football, he doesn't want to fall and get a fault like almost every player, he wants the show to go on, to continue without the drama of faking faults, and whenever he could he got up, and continue playing without giving the referees the time to whistle the fault.
