🐰 Text: 1> HIV does not make people dangerous to know, so you can shake their hands and give them a hug. Heaven knows, they need it. 2> Eating disorders, whether it be anorexia or bulimia, show how an individual can turn the nourishment of the body into a painful attack on themselves. 3> When I started my public life, twelve years ago, I understood the media might be interested in what I did. But I was not aware of how overwhelming that attention would become. 4> It's always been my concern to touch people with leprosy, trying to show in a simple action that they are not reviled, nor are we repulsed. 5> The world is too little aware of the waste of life, limb and land, which anti-personnel landmines are causing amongst some of the poorest people on earth.
Thank you so much! I can’t express how helpful your channel has been for my English learning journey, you make it so much easier with your work because I know the right place *where I can practice. Thank you for your time.
Hello, According to my experience in learning effective shadowing, you should let the person speak faster continuously, but with pauses at the part that needs to be interrupted, and more times. I think more than 5 times. This will make learners listen again and again and absorb it faster. That is my perspective. Thank you.
thank u for your thoughtful comment, considering viewers can rewatch video as many times as they want I think leaving it 3 times is reasonable (so each line doesn't take up too much time), about place of pauses I thought it'd be presumptuous of me to decide which parts should be focused on :) so I just add pauses equally
