  • How to Crochet Tunisian Leaf - video tutorial. Free pattern. For crochet beginner's, it will introduce the weave of simple basic: a magic ring (magic circle), single crochet and slip stitches.
Each row of Tunisian Crochet is worked in two parts. The “Forward Pass” pulls up loops and leaves them on the hook, the “Return Pass” works the loops off the hook until one remains. As you work, you will go back and forth on your work and never turn. The right side of your work is always facing you.

I just finished, but I used No. 10 crochet thread. I was determined to make a small leaf. It's not perfect, but it's mine. lol

Hi! Such a cool looking leaf. I was hoping you could tell me if you used the recommended hook size for the yarn or if you sized up like normally done with Tunisian crochet? Thank you!

Unfotunately, you don't explain enough where the stitches are we'd be working into so mine didn't come out well. I had to look for better instructions.

It’s just a different way of making a really tight circle of a starting round. It’s easier to make the required number of stitches into a loose circle base and then pull the loose string snug to tighten it up.😊
