I think the best part about this whole trip is that your kids will remember the effort and time you and your husband took to travel with them, spend quality time with them, have fun, and make special family memories. These are the things that they will remember along with birthdays, holidays, etc. They'll tell their kids, "When I was small, mom and dad took us on adventures!" My kids are grown, but when we vacationed we always cooked our own food. Honestly it saved us so much money, and in return we could stay longer.
