As a person without a permanent home, it's extremely important to treat everyone with kindness and respect. I was on the opposite end of homelessness and judged very harshly. Now that i know what it feels like I'm a lot more compassionate. It's ugly out in the world, and helping those in need is a priority for me. Love and Light 🌟✨🌟

This morning, I 'released' my addiction to social media, to make room for better habits like reading, writing, better communication, language learning, etc.
A great way to support your community is to go to locally owned fitness studios. I took a spin class at this Black owned, local studio in Brooklyn and it was amazing!!
I also got some winter gear from a local shop. Locally made knits are great gifts for the holiday season

Any coat sweater, jacket, long underwear, pants, underwear, socks, all of that can go into the bag as well as instant coffee, instant hot cocoa, and a cup with a bottle of water, and some kind of lighter matches something to start a fire with a tarp all kinds of things come to mind
I love that you said keeping something in your car if you see someone in need. My job has a lot of homeless around the town and I keep snacks in my bag just incase ❤ haven’t had to hand any out yet but it’s such a sweet idea

I love this! I was on a nurse contract and for the very first time since 2007 I did not complete it due to the extremely unhealthy environment. So since I was off for 4 weeks I have been getting myself back aligned and looking for ways to give back its sad because it’s not a lot out here being advertised so I connected with the near by women’s shelter.. I use to do this “Thankful Jar” I stopped when I started traveling working pandemic And that was almost 4 years ago so I need to get back into my true hearts alignment
I think you have mentioned this before but volunteering or donating to your local food shelf is a great way to support your community, during this time of year especially ❤

I am a Gemini Moon & Sagittarius Rising with my Sun in Scorpio. Letting go has always been very challenging for me. I am slowly making strides & positive discoveries surrounding change & attachment. I just let go of my uncle's records that I have been carting around with me for many years... I do not even own a turntable. I have a very good framily member who buys and sells vinyl. I asked him over and he took them all to review, appraise, and assess. He ended up purchasing them and I made some unexpected Christmas money!!! There is a bit of an emptiness, but not a bad one. If feels that not only is there more space in my walk-in closet, but also room for me to place something special to me in this space instead of hauling around baggage from my loved ones that really serve no purpose in my current existence. 🧠🧠🧠 Thank you for your contribution & kindness. 😊

i just want to say how heart-warming it is to think about all of the good you're promoting through the collective perspective section. it's really inspiring. for anyone who can't put together their own care box for a vulnerable person, many charities (at least in the UK, but I'm sure elsewhere too) run Christmas appeals where your donation goes to a care package for somebody.
other charities are appealing for holiday gifts for the families and young people they support through online wishlists. that can be a good way to give if you aren't able to go out to collect/give gifts physically. ❤

I love the idea of having the pre prepped bags in my car to handout to those in need of food and shelter. Especially the bags that include gloves, hats, scarves etc. I am definitely going to incorporate that into my established community involvement. ❤❤❤
