Hah, the first time I see Indy and the production team making a mistake (and of course it had to be the Törni-episode, damn it!)! Allthough it's propably because of the lack of proper photos of Lauri, while speaking of nco-trained man you presented pictures of him with wrong ranks, from the end of winter war as second liuetenant and a liuetenant from continutation war. We had small vertical bars as nco-badges and stars/roses as officers. Small thing, just had to say it. Otherwise, really high class stuff with our war of indepence and the situation of isthmus clarified. There are a lot of good stories about Törnis actions during winter war, you could've kept going for an hour.
Sabaton concert on zoom possibly? Also it’s amazing that even if you guys aren’t in your studio and can’t meet each other in person, your still willing to give us content
Great photo that Indy should comment on some time. For those who aren't familiar, during a 1993 game Robin Ventura charged the mound after getting hit by a pitch, but Nolan Ryan put him in a headlock and gave him a one sided beat down. By the way, Robin is a very nice guy with a great sense of humor who has been happy to good naturedly sign copies of that photo at White Sox fan events for years.
I know I commented on a previous video about this but I'd like to hammer in what a great topic it would be. I would love for you guys to make a video on the Navajo Codetalkers! They were radio men in the USMC who used their native language to help secure US transmissions and messages! It's a very good story!!! Another good story is the Sullivan Brothers who all died while making sure that they all could get off a sinking ship. A sad story of brotherhood, family, and commitment !
Im not sure how I feel about this episode...talking about Lauri Thorni, who did what he had to, defying orders when it was right...fighting in three armies, and here we are...cowering alone in our pods.

No. Americans would ruin it.
The only soldier decorated for gallantry in three separate armies. A good three-part episode needed to explain Lauri's career. Maybe I should give you my spare copy of "My Brave Boys."
Glad to see you all staying safe and still doing the video! And thanks for doing one of my favorite songs! I can't wait for the next parts. All about the man who hated red so much he probably bled white out of spite.
I found not long ago a book in Icelandic about a woman who served in the Soviet Union era during the Fatherland wars and was one of the few who got high promotion
If I knew I could have sent it to Joakim to read, I'd have bought it for him
My grandma had to leave Karelia back then. Also, Happy Veterans Day to all Finnish veterans
Yes! One of my favorite Sabaton songs. And a trilogy? You gentlemen have fulfilled my wishes 110%. :)
Despite quarantine, the episode is as good as always. Well done
Thanks!
Notification squad reporting as ordered to SHOUT LAURI THÖRNI'S NAME

I love what you guys are doing. We're just happy to be learning the stories behind our favorite songs. Perhaps when all this is over, it will be part of remembered history as well...you think?
Awesome video as always guys.

I love you guys 😂 thanks so much for giving us content even in this quarantine time you’re all so amazing!!!
Thank you! stay safe! :)
Uhh I've been waiting for this for a loooong time, thanks Indy and thanks Joakim
Amazing story and great song. Patiently awaiting part 2
Sabaton concert on zoom possibly? Also it’s amazing that even if you guys aren’t in your studio and can’t meet each other in person, your still willing to give us content
Can't wait to see you guys in St. Louis in September, hope you guys love this city
Indy, I love the Nolan Ryan with Robin Ventura in a headlock picture. Nice touch! I miss baseball.
Simple history made a video for Torni, the guy was a beast/mad man lol. Cool video, keep up the good work
Thanks!
Great video. Informative, entertaining and fill of energy.
Thank you Drew
I dont care about video quality. Indy's voice could be coming through an old timey crackly radio and i'd still tune in!
Just noted the Part 1 when you went on the mind stream.
I love that you guys did this via Skype! I feel like this is a special collector's edition episode!
It's definitely part of Sabaton History now
Gotta love this song
This episode is literally History.
You guys are awesome! Thanks for making these videos!
You're very welcome!
