In my opinion as a Fil, betrayal from a person you respect highly, regardless of how shallow it is, would be a deep cut. It's something that Spanish, Mexicans, and Filipinos have something in common. something the Americans don't understand, because they are too vulgar or frank with their opinion. It’s true, Stevie never said a bad word about Ez…until the Realist reaction. If you watch it I think you’ll see what I mean. It just went a little beyond constructive criticism imo. And I agree with you, there are other reactors that hate on Ez and he could have aimed towards them, but I think it was personal with Stevie. At least that’s what I got from their conversation they had yesterday. Ez doesn’t care about reactors he doesn’t know who are only trying to make a name for themselves by hating on him. He knew that Stevie was a fan, not a hater, and that’s why his reaction caught him off guard

Prof, i've been waiting for your take on this one. We Filipinos aren't the same with western choices of words. Filipinos are senstive in words but we are cordial and very welcoming! Stevie has more constructive criticisms and a true fan of EZ but he said in his reaction that Em dunked on EZ with __ in his mouth. We find it disrespectful and Im sure that's how EZ felt.

Here is the reason why Ez got sensitive bout Stevie. We Filipino is a family oriented individual. That is our culture and how we are wired up. If we consider you a friend, you automatically become a family.
Music is subjective, no argument bout that, but hearing it from your friend (or Ez thought Stevie is in his camp), saying it to everybody that they are not vibin on your own shit, especially in the times he needs your support, would hurt a lot. And he just not say he's not vibin on it, but he said a lot of unnecessary words. If you don't like your friends' stuff, well, that's cool, but dont throw shits online. Say it to him personally, and he would take it as a man. Don't throw your man in the pit that's full of vultures. Just like what you said prof, loyalty is important to Ez and he expected some loyalty from Stevie and that's what this is all about.
One thing positive bout this is that now Ez knows who's he's true friend.

But Stevie Knight was not just a regular reactor for EZ….he was supposedly a Fam & Ez looked up to him way before he blew up… Ez will careless on any hate coming from other reactors who he don’t give a shit about, but it does hurt when a certain type of energy was released by some one on your camp.

Bout plagarism, he is referring to another reactor. The teddy bear which is grizzy hendrix. GH done a diss track which has plagarism (dnt know exactly what) but he himself acknowledged that he plagarized. GH also posting almost bout anything which he always include EZ's name on the title, which Ez reffering to using his name to earn money.

I think flexing plagiarism was directed towards someone else Prof. I remember an interview with a former manager that EZ practically directed and gave life to their song that they even sang together in WishBUs. From my perspective, Stevie's reaction caught EZ off guard in a sense that Stevie appreciates Eminem's greatness and the fact that EZ is a young pup/ goat in the making debuting a song with allegedly THE GOAT, Stevie pretty much compared them both and overlooked EZ's verses which I get since Em is in it. Stevie was the one who came off a little too strong with his opinion and because of the fact that EZ himself knows Stevie is a fan of his, the fact that Stevie's reaction wasn't on the level EZ thinks he(Stevie) is capable of doing, that cut was deeper than anybody for EZ. Basically EZ appreciates Stevie's takes and the fact that he went a little too far left uncalled for didn't sit well on EZ and that cut was deeper than any regular opinion out there.

First of all, before he met Em and Dre, he already had the 1st verse and the hook already made and he added the 2nd verse and notice that Em only had one verse. There’s a difference between criticism and judging from how you say it and the tone. When he snakes and teddy is from his merchant HOES R HEADACHES ( from TOYS R US because of the letter r ) these are the reactions that rock with him and on his success train. But you think it’s fair for the reactors to compare him with the goat? Em just happened a lot to address and the years of experience. If you know then you know, if you’re really a true supporter or believer. And is it fair that Ez can’t have his opinion too. 😊❤️🇵🇭
Was it fair? YES prof I think this is. "Em dunked his dick on your mouth" while laughing mockingly was disrespectful especially considering they've spoken back and forth before. I mean, of course, SK can say, Eminem bodied EZ on that verse - that's fine. I mean EM is the GOAT for a reason. That's an opinion and nothing wrong with that. But SK had poor choice of words and deserves to be called out on that, too.
Also, going hard on those clowns/haters will only give them the limelight. Can you imagine these clowns sayng on their thumbnail, "A newly signed Em/Dre artists shouted me out and dissed me? So, that was a strategic move.
Anyway, both have settled it like men now. The fact that EZ got on an interview with Stevie Knight speaks volumes in his character. He'll say what he means, and he will say it to your face. No hiding after, no nothing. Like saying, "I am backing it up and I will face you. "
SK was not genuine in the 'hash out' video. He barely let EZ talk! He gaslighting EZ, glad EZ stood his ground. I read some comment saying EZ camp purposefully cut that conversation, if it's true, I am not shocked.
@@notyourgrannyscloset I kind of disagree and if I remember it correctly, EZ was mid-question and was quite giddy about it too. So that trumps the notion that EZ purposefully cut if off, if he or his team did, I would actually be a bit disappointed.
I can tell EZ is still not comfortable with these interviews except in a few occasions where he felt at ease. Give him time. But yes, in that SK talked too much in that too but EZ's camera, audio, and connection is also really messed up and that adds into me having a hard time understanding what he's trying to say.
Also, SK really is a cool dude, if you ask me. Absolutely not a hater. Sometimes he will cross the line, but don't we all?

I felt like EZ's actual connection was trash audio and visually, there was a delay, it was nearly impossible to catch much of what he said.
I did, however, get the distinct impression that EZ had been watching SK forever and really respected his opinion and to hear him rag on his part of that song may have stung a little.
Just like it probably hurt SK a little, especially to be firstly, again reminded of the fight, not the finest moment (but also, it seems like every time I hear it brought up, no one points out the way dude knocked him out and •knew• it, but still continued to pound on him, even though Stevie was in a really messed up position in and against the ropes and the ref had told him to stop, the bell had sounded and dude was literally just recklessly pounding on his skull unnecessarily), but also, as he said how it was just embarrassing for him to have this guy's name be a part of his own narrative at all. Obviously it was a choice he made but you can see he regrets it.
Then, also, EZ was lumping him in with reactors he wasn't stoked to be grouped with etc
I totally understand how it would have come off to EZ, having this reactor he liked, who he has an acquaintance off camera with, for him to say negative shit about his work, but he was really just saying what he thought, which was simply that he knew EZ could have done better.
And I think EZ knew that also.
In fact, he even said at one point that he felt like he was just the opening act of the song and everyone who was listening would just be waiting to hear Em anyway, which I didn't really feel like anyone felt that way.
I say all that just to say that I think EZ felt like he could have done better also and did think he had, on the second verse, when he double and even triple timed his rap, which was very impressive flow-wise, but I don't think it won him too many points with SK regardless and so, ya, I think there was some hurt feelings in both directions and I also think EZ's wifi was f'ed and that was seriously impeding EZ's ability to communicate.
