I commented a couple months ago about swinging Axe handles in slow pitch and saying I love it. I still like it, but I have found myself this year going back to my White Mayhem Connell bat from years past. Just something about it. Will is right. If you swing Axe you have to be all in and figure out the swing. It does make you feel like you dip a little bit easier with an Axe handle and you do have to cut the ball. But when you hit it right with an Axe it goes! I to hang a pinky off on a traditional knob and I cannot do it with an Axe handle bat. Love that you gave these bats another go. Not a bad bat at all, but something you have to definitely have to be patient with an Axe handle bat to figure out the swing.
I’m have a friend who bought a dual stamp for our ASA/USA league. Everyone loves it and one of our power hitters drops his pinky and says it’s a game changer. I just can’t get behind the handle. I’ll stick to my Anarchy’s.
Will, will you please explain about slow pitch bat compression. I never had an issue back when I played softball. It wont take a minute. Please Will, please explain this to us. I for one would love to know. I said before that I knew. I don't. Love you guys. Please keep the videos coming brother, I need them badly. PEACE ✌
I just bought the Dual-Stamp because as a skinny dude with not the best upper body strength (pretty strong legs though), I need all the help I can get lol.
My first usssa axe lasted me three seasons of spring and fall rec league loved it finally broke it this spring went and got this same usssa from the video and it's like Will says once you commit to the axe you will fall in love and won't want to go back.
Can we get a mini review on the Easton autism 13” loaded 2021? I’m looking to purchase because I swing a fire flex now and wondering if is the same bat
Got a pair of those True batting gloves brother, Easton and Under Armour didn't hold a candle to them. Will say though the Brain Harpers look good when I'm on the Harley, comfortable too!
Have you ever tested a bat called black magic? There is one on ebay for around $35.00. Barrel is still wrapped. Its a 31 in 20 oz. Its a drop 10 as it says in the description. I didn't know it would be so cheap. I have only seen 1 in my live time. I don't remember you testing 1. I was just wondering. PEACE ✌
be nice if this handle could be attached, detached somehow or that knob company would make something this shape perhaps.. Not a fan of not being able to rotate this to get all of the barrell involved. It does feel ok in the first few swings as it enhances your snap, but it begins to hurt your hand after a handful of cuts..
The bat is made to not be rotated. I have over 800 swings on three different Axe bats and I have no idea why you said your hand hurts. Actually I'm a lot less fatigued swinging this bat vs a round knob after 25 straight cuts.
There is a video from about 10 years ago on a channel called "GARY O". The video is of Jose Canseco hitting a softball 572 feet. You have to check it out. The video is just under 30 seconds. Amazing. I'd love to know what bat he was using. PEACE ✌
I bought an axe bat in February, used down in Florida for worlds then one tournament in NJ. I would say about 50-100 swings at most, tested at 175 the next tournament. Totally unusable for a normal softball player unless you have a surplus.
I love these comments of “Bats don’t last long these days.” Yeah they don’t. Why? Because y’all hit lazy and wanted ‘hot out the wrapper’ so you don’t have to put any work into anything. 😂
Making contact with the ball on a level plane. You get flat linedrives that way. Get a little under the middle line of the ball and you get loft. On top of it... grounders.
Count me as one of those that think this is gimmicky for softball. Makes sense in a wood baseball bat where you want to hit on only one side of the barrel. Not for a composite since the whole barrel needs to be loosened up.
Ya know, im having trouble believing that Jose Canseco hit a softball 572 feet. Most homeruns don't go beyond 450 feet. His longest HR in baseball was 540 ft. How in the hell did he hit a softball 572 ft. Oh well. Do you believe it? PEACE ✌
@@slowpitchbros i have to say, I dont think anyone could hit a softball 572 ft. How far do you think Dale Brungardt hit those balls. Can a softball be hit farther than a baseball? I watched some major league HR derbys. Only one came close to 500 ft. I think 1 went just beyond 500. But none close to 572. Ill take your word 4 it brother. Thank you for the videos. Since I had my leg amputated it really gives me something to do. PEACE ✌
Actually the Canseco bomb is 100% legit. I played multiple tournaments against him and he legit hits monster shots...well 8 years ago he did. He was swinging a shaved bat and hard ass balls just like all the other derbys and Long Haul Bomber shows. Why do you think they bring 3 bats up to bat with them. I personally watched Harvey hit a ball into the American flag at Tropicana field. Center field fence is 410, and he hit a flag located dead center at the top of the dome. Easily over 500'.
@@bpmonsta6450 thats amazing. He hit a softball 572 ft? I know he has a swing that blows everything away. I just didn't think it was possible. I'll take your word for it brother. PEACE ✌
Also just realizing that the Dual-Stamp in this video is certified with the 240 USSSA stamp!

I always get excited when the new vids drop💯
Had the 2017 axe dual stamp(black and orange) for just about 3 years and held up like a champ
Maybe I haven’t watched many, but this is an excellent review. Nice work guys.
I watch the baseball bat bros. Just now found out you did softball
Two axe bat vids in one day, let's go!
Yes sir
Let’s go where ?
Swing in the intro looked hands back more and tucked in and wow looked really nice good load for slow pitch
Great review! Bottom line, the handle either works for you or it doesn’t.
I have been to that field. I use to go to the school across from it when it was rock Creek middle school.
I bought the duel stamp for my softball league. We use 44/375 balls. The first pitch I saw I went yard. Everyone was like Holy Cow!!!

Test the 2022 Demarini Nautalai Enload pretty hot out out of the wrapper as well

With the Axe bats being directional, does the compression change dramatically as you rotate the bat in the tester?

Can you please do a review on the Monsta Bombardier I kinda want to get one but I wanna know what I’m getting myself into
It’s a sinister(if one piece) or Torch repaint (if two-piece) pretty much the best Monsta offers
It took me a little while but I finally broke in my axe and hot damn.
Wait what do you mean broke in the cold? Im playing in an outdoor winter league
What’s your opinion on getting a bat rolled? I’ve been trying to find a rolling service in the PNW
I wonder if the axe helps snap the wrists. Any thoughts?
Aye what bat would you recommend for a new slow pitch player?
Demarini DP Nautalai

0:38 the dual stamp has the 240 stamp
Oh shit you’re right!!
Ya but how does the dual stamp hit 52’s is the question?!
At 275-250, probably not great - stick with Monsta 😂
@@slowpitchbros I got the Kp23 ASA for that.
Try the flair handle axe
What class do you guys play?

There's no way the bat cam last as long as a regular handled bat because all the impacts are on the same side
What do you think about axe bat bbcore out of 10
Will: I don’t hit very well with it..
*Then proceeds to drop bombs*
If only I’m so fortunate to not very well like that😑
The power gap sucked. Was seriously bummed after taking the gamble on one. Should've went with the dual stamp.
On the bat bros channel you should do another home run derby but if mason gets the goods throw all change ups and curves 😂

what is the best baseball wood bat company?
Do the 2022 hellcat
Do the new axe bat

fence distance?
Did you happen to throw any 52s at the dual stamp? Wondering how it compares as an ASA option. Might have to revisit this one for a third time! 😂
Haha not again! 😂 I would assume it’s not great with 52s compared to a much lower compression option like Monsta
@@slowpitchbros So true! I might just be a glutton for punishment.
Are you guys from Washington?
Oregon I think
Oregon.
The bat seems about 1 inch too short
What does cutting the ball mean

No way I'd buy a bat that I can't rotate, especially with how fragile bats are today.
He's swinging in the 3's....NOOOOOOOOOO
Not good hitters. City league wisher they could do it for real.
