- MY FILIPINA GIRLFRIEND THERINE HAS BEEN SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY HERE IN CANADA OVER THE HOLIDAYS... AND SHE FINALLY SAW A LITTLE SNOW!
This video is a few glimpses of some wonderful experiences we have been having here in Canada. We road trip to Cathedral Grove just past Coombs on Vancouver Island. Along the way, we stop by the famous "Goats on the roof" market and buy some snacks. It is a really funky place!
Vancouver Island is home to amazing forests... Cathedral Grove is one with trees that were hundreds of years old. We had a great walk with my parents, and then enjoyed some evening Christmas lights. The next day, our friend Bob took us up Mt. Washington, where Therine was able to experience some snow (although there is only a little). We really enjoyed the experience... and it was made even more special flying back up to look at the mountain with our friends plane! Thanks Sylvain and Marilou!
A wonderful day road tripping and flying around Vancouver Island and the Comox Valley!

Probably going to be too far down to see but I wanted to reach out to say I LOVE these recent vlogs. Mostly because you're travelling around my home communities. I grew up in Black Creek and both of my Parents still live there. I actually worked as a server in the restaurant at the Kingfisher for a few years in my early life. Love seeing where you are taking Therine, perfect introduction to Vancouver Island.
Vancouver is so pretty. The scenery are breathtaking. Awesome.. Enjoy Therine and Kulas.

We spent in Philippines four weeks and we really enjoyed , we have really nice vacation but it’s too hot .When we come back to Canada we fall in love again to our country Canada , we enjoy much more every moment even the cold weather , and we understand the beautiful smile of your lady face. We are very happy for guys . If you come to Calgary we will going to give you a tour. Congratulation and God bless .

Wow an old age tree, clean and cold river. Nice environment clean, cold and colorful ambience.....
I like Therine's dance to the Volks Musik. The trip to the mountains was full of so many wonderful things for Therine to see: the spooky forest (tabi tabi po tabi apo!), sosyal outhouses, the unique and beautiful Kingfisher Resort 8:14 with all the great colored lights, and feeding the Whisky Jacks by hand. Bob's VW Bug ragtop is such a classic - and in great shape! And a flight over Comox in a small general aviation airplane. So many terrific experiences for Therine on her first trip to Canada! This trip was sure to be memorable for her, but how much more memorable with all these unique experiences..

I arrive in USA when I was 18. Therine is experiencing the most unforgettable moment on her life.
Watching Therine experience and enjoy lots of Canadian firsts brings back lots of memories when we experienced our firsts 13 years ago. Snow forecast in Metro Vancouver next week. Hopefully, she’ll be able to experience her first magical snowfall before heading back home.
Some years back, I and my young son, drove in the middle of winter from California to British Columbia to snowboard on Whistler, an events venue for 2010 Winter Olympic Games. We arrived at the Village around midnight and were at once pummelled by a playful blizzard, which was a welcome occurrence since it also brought new and fresh powder of snow. But the storm also shut down the gondola for a couple of days. The next day we took the lift to the highest run and cut on that fresh powder while absorbing all that glorious view. I was so exhausted when we got to the bottom. That was the longest run I had ever taken. My son had had to wait for me to catch up with him quite a few times. It was an incredible and unforgettable experience. [ I found out in later days that my late brother figured in the construction of the Whistler gondola as a construction inspector]. I've never had the pleasure of viewing the mountain on a bird's eye perspective or looked down on it from an aircraft , but just gathering everything from the old overland trip, the picture at 19:25 of your vlog, that of the lighted lifts, the formidable ski runs, the peaks where the 'Peak to Peak' gondolas hung as well as the pleasant picturesque village at the foot of the mountain, could very well be the Whistler Village and Mountain Resort. You may not believe this, but it was almost a shock that your vlog delivered swaths of warm memories from two countries. Thank you.

Karaoke in the space shuttle car, Hot chocolate and water melon candy, goats on the roof, giant dogwood trees, open campfire on the patio at night, discovering the joys of snow, feeding a little bird named Wiskey Jack, seeing the sun again, having a genuine Canadian cinnamon roll and fancy high calibre, opps, I mean calorie hot chocolate drink, picking Holly branches off a tree, going for a ride in German Beetle with the windows down, and going for an airplane ride over the mysterious land of Comox. Wow! I want to go to Canada too. :) Awesome video guys. Keep on going.. :)

Kulas and Therine,Im 65 yrs old Taylor Swift fan.She is coming to Canada at the end of her Eras tour this year,first Asia,then Aussie,then Europe. Glad Therine experienced snow,Come here to Norway and its too much.New Year I lost controll driving and ended on the over 1 meter snow,and stucked for about 3 hrs waiting for help in minus 10 frezzing point. I was trembling like hell when I got to work,maybe after shock. Now I hate winter.Planning to retire in Batangas during winter time and fly back her during summer time. Happy new year.
