@@DamienE11 I’m a WEC enjoyer myself I just dislike that they always post little 50 seconds clips throughout the weekend instead of insightful or useful highlights/sessions
@@electronights3589 Quite right. I enjoy endurance racing, but the WEC are very niggardly with their clips. The very short ones give almost no information.

Long Beach is so fun to be at. Still have the old hard card from when I went. Don't hesitate, get out is the sun. Great place for racing!
This race series would be so much more popular if it wasn't hamstrung by NBC and Peacock. Way to go IMSA youtube!

Man those 963’s are looking really underwhelming for all the hype behind them
The recent experience the two American-built machines have from DPi has really been showing compared to the German entries
They do struggle with tyre warm up though so hopefully they can be better in the race.

The GTD cars are really fast on this track. Passing is going to be more difficult with both classes running so close. This race will be exciting

The GTD class can use their Pro driver to qualify. Given the cars are equal in both GTD and GTD PRO, it should come as no surprise.

I'm a bit confused by some of the teams in GTD, seems like some teams didn't get the memo about free driver choice in qualifying! A lot of them ran their silver and bronze drivers and missed out for sure.
And you thought traffic on your 5pm commute was challenging. This race should set the perspective!

This is the first time they are competing at a track thats completely new to them. Daytona and sebring had alot of testing so they probably are gonna struggle all season till maybe petite le mans

If in GTD nonpro class pro driver is allowed to qualify, why for example mario farnbacher is not driving the car in qualifying?

Imsa need to do something about GTP , 1 second between Acura p1 to Cadillac in p3 and nearly 2 seconds overall spread , it’s already getting extremely boring

@@imsaofficial it’s the first season and they are developing the cars but its been obvious the Acura has an advantage on 3 different tracks so far. IMSA set a very high standard after the previous few years with BOP and when you miss the mark it takes the fun out of it , I hope the race isn’t a walk in the park for Acura
@@The_Devil_Riser Acura is still the heaviest car in the field though. I don't think they had an advantage at Sebring though. BMW and Caddi had faster race laps.
@@KompressorV6 the Acura was let down by sector 2 , they were fastest in sector 1 and 3rd fastest in sector 3 , Sebring is very different to any other track as it comes down to the chassis over the bumps, at Daytona Acura were 2nd in sector 1 , 1st and 2nd in sector 2 , 1st and 2nd in sector 3 (granted they cheated on that race) but Acura defo have an advantage on acceleration and top speed
@@The_Devil_Riser Yeah BOP calculation is rough. Maybe they should just focus on one small factor (like weight) and keep the rest the same instead of increasing power/stint energy to compensate.
Curious though, are those sector times from race laps or Qualifying?

IMSA Radio are world class commentators that are enjoyed by many. Apologies if they are not to your liking but you do have the option to watch Saturday's race on USA Network.

@@jchamber73 I understand its subjective but in my opinion Diffey and Fish are the most annoying team in motorsport.
Fish, based on his experience would be ok paired with someone else but Diffey just comes across as a clown with his constant use of nicknames, unrelated personal driver info and a voice that sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
