I love this series. Thank you ladies for keeping the info coming! I’m very interested in reading the article Tiffany mentioned that Jeff Novick wrote about BMI. I went to the McDougall website, forums and couldn’t find it. I tried the search feature and came up empty handed. If anyone had better luck than me and can link it, that would be so appreciated!

Hi, I just watched the replay. I’ve been eating WFPB since 2019 but have actually gained weight and have been feeling very down and hopeless. I began to think that I just need to accept myself as being the big fat girl that I am. My clothes have gotten very tight, yet again 😮. I can’t go bigger clothes yet again. Do I just stop eating? It drives me crazy trying to figure this out but I can’t afford to do the 12 day program. I loved that Tiffany was here tonight because I feel hopeful. I’m going to try her eat 1/2 and walk away trick. Also I’d gotten myself into big trouble with peanut butter on toast. I too had just bought a big box of Mary’s crackers. I was also eating that healthy fat of avocado on toast. I can see that I have lots and lots of changes to make to get me on the weight loss path. Thanks for hope. Sorry for such a long post. Thank you so much for this video. 🤗🤗

Thanks for saying you weigh yourself, Stacy, l also weigh myself to see if l need to eat more or less, it works for me. I have a small frame and according to BMI l am under weight but l feel fine ,l think l look ok , l exercise daily l use some weights for muscle. I know to eat rice pasta potatoes oats and a few veggies and fruits. And filtered water. That's how l eat on a daily basis .

@stacycross8480 Hi Miss Stacy. Your explanation about weight loss mode (calorie deficit) vs building muscle (calorie surplus) was fantastic (as are all of your explinations!). A follow up question: when in weight loss mode, how does one maintain muscle mass while losing weight?

I find Tiffany's attitude to eating animals occasionally unappealing. It's not something I want to hear.

@@debbiepalmer1094 I think she just meant to not quit if you did or it was a part of the conversation on cooking for a family member who eats meat. So there was more talk of it in this particular conversation.

@@KathyHesterVeganRecipes thanks for the reply, she said eating turkey once in a while like at Thanksgiving wasn't going to cause health issues. Well for the poor turkey it sure would. I was just shocked because animals are usually considered on your channel and her lack of consideration for anything other than human health was seriously off putting, I stopped watching at that point. Absolutely not your fault, it's just a view I can't get on board with. I love your channel, it's one of my all time favourite, you and Cheryl just have the best energy! xx

@@debbiepalmer1094Hey Debbie, I’m sorry that was hurtful in any way. Thanks for sharing your feelings. I’ll share your feedback with Tiff and we will be much more careful in the future. Thought the McDougall Program isn’t a “vegan” program per se, we do care very much about the animals and the environment. Big hugs and I hope you’ll consider coming back for our next conversation. ❤
