Null is just for movements. Whereas the camera has features like focal distance and fog for more realistic outcomes. Also, you can change the angle of the focus point which cannot be done using null.

No! my friend, You can only move one group at a time. Suppose you have 10 layers and you’ve made two groups with 5 layers each. In that case, you can only move 5 layers by moving one group. However, you can move both groups with Null simultaneously, even 10 groups at a time.
