    I've had a few crazy experiences with this. Probably one of the more popular topics on my channel. People are waking up to this! Great video!

    Man this is amazing! I spent a lot of time trying you techniques and it finally worked one night! I was standing on an ocean, I listened to the waves and felt the breeze and then it felt so real. I was just walking on the ocean! Great video.

    I started writing dream journal and doing reality checks last September. After I saw few lucid dreams I forgot to write them down and do reality checks, but now I still see lucid dreams about monthly. Before I tried I had never seen one so I guess it was worth it :D Now I will try to start seeing them a bit more often.

    I had a lucid dream when I was a teenager, and it lead me to read a few books on how to achieve awareness during sleep, but I didn't experience it again. Great video about an interesting subject.

      I did a few years later, got to the point of the "Lightbulb Popping", but now i'm so relaxed I just go to sleep! :-)

    I had a series of semi lucid dreams and finally a full on flying lucid dream, meeting myself older and bald- but then i startet just getting sleep paralysis- Now they are not as frighteing as the first 3-4 times, but I kind of hit a dead end
    Was fun in the beginning though, when dreams became more and more lucid, asking people if i was dreaming and many times they said no, some even saying it in a mischievous way- One guy told me he was aware it was a dream and he had no problem with not being real- and just a figment of my imagination "just go on- and please mind the gap ;) "

    I'm excited. I've ordered this book and some Mugwort tea. I've been keeping a dream journal for a few days and have been practicing MILD. I hope by the time my order comes in I'll be well prepared.

    I had my first lucid dream last week, I was stuck in a cellar and all my movement was gluey, I realised I was dreaming and decided to fly out of the cellar but then woke up. I was pretty chuffed with the whole thing though! I'm planning a cheap holiday to the pyramids for my next one lol!

    Yo guys
    I just had 4 phases of lucid dreams after doing the techniques at 5:30
    And I promise that all you need to succeed is to believe in yourself and love yourself and motivate yourself to keep on even if you didn’t have a lucid dream
    Peace and love💪🏽

    I guess it gives you extra time because you are active in the dream and can do a lot of things.. How do you feel when wake up from a lucid dream? Do you feel tired (like still want more sleep )? Great video by the way !

    • @OnePercentBetter
      @OnePercentBetter  8 лет назад

      +Read with Alex Indeed. I feel happy and thrilled, and usually write down what I remember. Lucid Dreams don't tend to have any correlation with whether I feel sleepy or not :P

    I had a lucid dream twice... on one I was flying and then it ended and I fell off bed, the second one I think I had a car or loads of money and I asked myself that I am not dreaming and pinched myself the sensation was so real though but Robert waggoner explained how sensations work in a lucid dream so I understand... now I am looking forward to my next lucid dream

    Sleep 4-5 hour. Wake up and wait for 20-30 minutes. Then go to bed and don't move. Focus only on breath or sensation from your body. Do not expecting anything. :D

    Sorry i would like to ask you a question , I know that it's been a couple of years since you posted this video but I'm curious about something . If you listen to a specific melody that will always remind you of something that you will never forget before going to bed without stopping the song will help you to have a better chance to have a lucid dream about that memory or it will have no effect ? That's all I want to know , thank you and have a nice day .

    Technique 1 is a legitimate way people lucid dream, but it's NOT MILD. The whole idea of MILDing is training your prospective memory (remembering to remember) with a list of different events to look out for during each day. Then, using your prospective memory to remember to notice that you're dreaming, whether in conjunction with dream signs / reality checks or not.

    • @notme9801
      @notme9801 7 лет назад +1

      You've condensed DILD, WBTB Method, and several others into MILD. Of course what you said will work, but it's very inaccurate

    Wait, I don't understand why you should set your alarm for six hours? Especially since you said you're more likely to lucid dream in the last two hours of an eight hour sleep period.

    • @00010075
      @00010075 8 лет назад +2

      +MAxiHOP that's what I'm confused on too. If we are most likely to lucid dream in the last two hours of an 8 hour sleep why should we wake up at around the time we will most likely lucid dream? It seems counterintuitive...

    • @OnePercentBetter
      @OnePercentBetter  8 лет назад +2

      My apologies for an unclear explanation - Your longest rem period occurs in those last 2 hours which is where you're most likely to have lucid dreams (its a rough estimate), by waking up after 6 hours, you can gently bring yourself back into the dream you were just having. You could wake up after 5.75 hours if you want to get specific, but its a little different for everyone :P
