It's mainly affect Delhi , people are little aggressive there . In other part of India I heard that people don't hurt them but was angry because of Indra Gandhi killing. Diljit Dosanjh has also done a movie "Punjab 1984" that movie depicted the condition of Punjab state at that time and this "Jogi" movie will depict the condition of people in Delhi state at the same time in 1984.
I feel that Diljit has improved so much in last 5 years that he is now a much better actor than a singer, and this is because for him acting comes second, his first love is singing, he doesn't chase and lobby for big projects as an actor and that is the reason why he is naturally and genuinely improving as an actor effortlessly with each film each project 🙌👍

my grandfather was coming from Punjab during that time in a train, somewhere in middle of nowhere, during night the rioters made the train stop and entered it with swords in hand to find sardars to kill, one sikh man- in order to save his family got up and ran out of the train into field and rioters ran after him. His family was just sitting there screaming and crying for him and no one could do anything at all. It was very heartbreaking and traumatising for everyone there.

The plot of the movie is based on true incidences and it happened in 1984 when the former prime minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was shot down by her two bodyguards who were both Sikhs. Because of this supporters of Indira Gandhi started to lynch all the sikh community especially in Delhi and the national capital region at that time and almost more than 5000 sikhs lost their lives in this incident.

Love both diljit and zeeshan in the trailer but i just cant trust ali zafar's direction given his past record... The director often choice historical injustices that no other movie maker has guts to showcase but often his direction felt short...i hope this isn't the case with this one
