You'll use points for the Beach Villa. If you have status, they'll probably offer you a free upgrade to the overwater villa. Or you can pay for the upgrade.

I’d be willing to do cash and points, but they said no. Still debating which resort to go to if if I’m going to have to pay $$. Loved the video!

I think a lot of people are redeeming miles for these flights now. Just keep checking and things will open up.

We stayed June 2022. The hotel has been opened for just a few months.
