    I'd only seen the first episode but so far I really like it, the songs, the choreography, the visuals, it might not be anything special in terms of story but for everyone saying it's too woke, do you actually know what the 50s were like. I won't say this is great, again I'd only seen the first episode but this show is fun, energetic, and the four leads so far really intrigued me

      The producers went to look at the actual yearbooks from the school where they shot the original film and the 1954 yearbook looked a lot like this cast. It was a FULLY integrated school in 1954, with plenty of white, Black, Asian, and Hispanic kids.
      So, that's on you if you don't think it's realistic or you have a problem with it.
