I had P+ only for Star Trek, which is decent enough, bur I really need them to have more shows than just that to justify that $9.99 a month. Glad to see this one added.
And now they have gone and cancelled both those shows and for added insult removing from platform 🤨

I saw the first two episodes and they were so well done! I'm obsessed!
I am a big Grease fan and loving this origin story. Also, love Frenchy and Rizzo make appearances (played by different people) of course. 😊 Can't wait to see the rest of the episodes. 🫶🏽

Paramount, please please please bring back ROTPL and keep it on your service and give us a new season. I got P+ for Trek but will be unsubscribing for ROTPL. You gave us such beautiful sapphic and POC representation in media only to rip it away from us. Not cool

I watched all of season 1 and I'm so sad it's been canceled it was a great prequel the the movie I grew up with. I don't know if this was intentional but I felt like it was a social commentary on how America it "fun" for those who hold power but not for everyone and I just loved this show.

Yes the songs are absolutely amazing. The acting is great but those costumes though. Oh my god that is my wheelhouse and they were fantastic!!!!!!!!

It’s so not cool how you give us this first season teasing us with the backstories of the T Birds and Pink Ladies as well as introducing young Frenchy and then just bail as if she wasn’t one of the favorite OG movie characters. I really wanted to see where this would’ve went.
They need to put the whole series on national tv not that streaming tv stuff

The lack of diversity in Grease the movie shows what the 50s were actually like. I think its more of a wakeup call and a conversation starter than a show with diversity all mixed up in a bowl that pretends there was no gender stereotypical cliques.
Annabelle Oakes grabbed a 1954 yearbook from the school where they shot the original film and found that it was very diverse.
They couldn't even afford to pay for Frankie Valli's version of Grease?
I'm pretty sure they owned the rights, but this being a musical series, turning it into a ensemble number that introduces the new characters is a better decision.
The very first song is the theme song from the original film.

Sorry, but it does have the woke stuff in it. Especially, since it's based on the 1950s..when you had to be rich and white to have a voice and be heard. The main character Jane (Frenchy's older sister) is half Puerto Rican and Italian. She's running for class president against her ex (who is the star quarterback, rich and white.)

No Frenchie, no Jan, etc. who in the world are these new characters? This isn’t the Pink Ladies… This is gonna flop. XD

Frenchy's older sister Jane is the main character. Frenchy and Rizzo make appearances at times. They even reveal Frenchy's real name; Francesca. Frenchy and Rizzo are in middle school, having just met and became friends. They're not even Pink Ladies, yet. Jane and her friends started the Pink Ladies...this is an origin story. The T-Birds are already in existence and a gang.

I kinda figured that main girl was like a new Jan, hate her personality though and she really doesn’t feel like her, she got her look, but unfortunately that’s it…

I hate to be honest, but ... the original songs aren't that good. In the first three episodes, only one of them really got stuck in my head. 🤷♂
