I shoot with a similar scope the Astro Tech AT65EDQ Quad paired with a ZWO ASI533 camera and very happy with the images they produce. I also use the older AZ-GTi mount for a small Mead Mak. for viewing only... Thanks

Thanks for video Nick - very informative.
I'm using a stock DSLR camera (Canon, unmodified) through an AstroTech 70ED scope on a star tracker and was wondering how rewarding would the Rosette Nebula be? I wasn't sure how much detail I would be able capture without using the various SHO filters?

Filters won’t really help on an in modified DSLR as the camera ignores about 80% of the red light. Best off getting it modified and then buy a narrowband filter like the L-eXtreme to isolate the right wavelengths

Do you have any links to reviews of the Askar ? I’m thinking Redcat 51 or the Askar.

Not of that particular one as it’s only just been released but if you look up the other scopes in the range you’ll find some reviews
