WALL OF TEXT COMING WARNING:
I actually liked this anime than it's more popular competitor during that anime season which is Takt Op. The major turnoff for most people are the animation CG of the anime, this does not really bother me since heaven blessed me that I am able to watch alot of anime with more bad animation than this and find it really good, There's some scenes in this show that you where the money got putted in, but how about the story?
Checking the reviews I am pretty disappointed people find this anime really complicated even though it's extremely easy to understand. The story is arguably more better than Takt Op on a direct comparison due being this show able to handle the pacing well and really does fit for a 12 episode run. The introduction for the characters took like five episodes give it or take it's six episodes at longest, which honestly they did a fine job fleshing out the characters with their separate episode each and without It i think this show would lose it's core purpose in which "sacrifice" and "lesson".
This part would be filled with spoilers so be wary.
-The characters are able to have a solid character showcase to atleast show "Why" they became sleepers and the traumas they carry. This is a huge deal specially the four members(Without the captain) pretty much have a very unstable composition. But thanks to the MC he was able to solve it in a normal way in which what would you expect if a normal person was putted in this situation.
-Don't expect anything crazy about the MC and damn he is normal but very straight to understand things when directly faced to it and only took him three resets to fully comprehend and analyze what he needed to do.
-The side characters or the core four have a hit or miss episodes and I would say it now that Larry dedicated episode is the underwhelming one among the three while sumire episode is mid, Kobato episode is the peak episode among the introduction/getting to know eachother solving their problematic personality arc.
-Leslie's character is by far what holds the continuum of the plot together. If he didn't exist I don't know what would the show becomes to.
-Captain Vera is the most stubborn one as she is looking at the problem and solving it on her own way. This is one of the reason that it very well took her more than a hundred resets to know what she truly needed to do, this is a important key point to the whole story.
-The usage of the law of high numbers used very well here specially on solving Vera problem, a change on the usual order of happenings in a timeline maybe small but smallest of things can change the outcome of very different decision.
This is one of the reason why she changed so much with the realization of needing comradeship and importance of trust. She can just totally ignored the invite but she knows it would mean betraying them yet again for not her believing on them or by saying not trusting them enough.
-How beautiful that this show doesn't focus on how special the MC is but rather just a normal and casual protagonist which he is the perfect person to interact with other people because he can be a bridge to all of them.
-Did you notice that basically every major or huge problem involves all of them teaming together? I think this is one of the strengths of the show as well as the lesson and sacrifice in the end.
-Vera trusted Shigure to the point of her giving the cube to him since she knows after looking everything he'd done for the group, he is the best pick for the cube or whatever it's called.
-Shigure sacrifice and lesson that Vera learned is that if Shigure did a reset all the sacrifice they made would be go for nothing. You may call this a worthless sacrifice as he can save himself but damn he did the sacrifice to fully print to Vera's head to trust someone and believe they can do it.
-This is the only two reason why Vera reassures the three that Shigure would be coming back is because: 1. To just reassures them 2. She's truly believing that he would comeback as that is the lesson Shigure able to teach Vera in which trust, she's trusting him even with the hopelessness she faced of MC death she truly believes he can comeback alive.
Honestly there's so much I truly wanted to say for this anime since I think it really doesn't get the attention it deserves. This maybe a redundant but what made the story special is not because the MC is underwhelming but because he is normal and they solved and saved eachother asses by themselves too, and also that final lesson that truly made me appreciate the story.

@@incooperatedogo3342 yeah sadly it didn't get the attention because of it's studio backing and budget went in to it but damn there's some scenes on the show that you would notice got some budget in(For example: Leslie fight against his former teammate)
