She needs to calculate her menstrual cycle length first, then use that to get her ovulation day. You can also explore the method i explained in this video. Get an ovulation test kits, and start testing immediately after her period has stopped. Then have sex with her when you get a positive ovulation test. Good luck.

Estrogen can help with hot flashes, but it comes with risks. So I will advice you to avoid the triggers like caffeine, alcohol, spicy food and wearing light weight clothes. You can also carry with you a portable fan to use whenever the hot flash starts. Losing weight will also help a lot.

Anyway, use ovulation strips to track your ovulation and know if you are ovulating, that will be a good start. Then have sex when you get a positive ovulation test.
