- The Voice Teens is a Philippine reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN. It is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. The coaches of the show is composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.
This is the third version of The Voice franchise, after The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids; this is also the second The Voice Teens franchise in the world and the first in Asia.

Lea is just simply a genius. At first akala natin they'd sing in their respective comfort zones (Mica with opera and Christy with pop), pero nung sumabay si Mica kay Christy sa English version maraming nagulat. And the twist didn't end there because Christy gave us an operatic head voice at nakipagsabayan sa pro classical singer. This arrangement is HEAVENLY! 🙏🏼

Apart from their angelic voices, these two really showed good sportsmanship. Christy was happy for Mica when Mica won and after Christy chose her new coach, Mica was there at the backstage waiting for her to give her a congratulatory hug. It's not even a competition where like one tries to outshine the other but more of helping each other and caring for one another. It seemed as though they were sisters with such precious chemistry on stage and behind stage. They were both so humble too. My heart is 100% satisfied by the outcome & my ears 101% satisfied with I heard. Thumbs up girls!! 👍

I am not the type of person commenting things like this but I swear, this is the best rendition i've ever heard in this competition.
it's not just the competition itself that I found this battle worth replaying. it's the moments even after the competition that I really loved. The sportsmanship of Mica and Christy. They did not take their performance as a competition. They took it as something that could help them socially.

At first I thought "SOBRANG MAGKAIBA SILA NG VOCAL CAPABILITIES" tapos biglang nag belt and nag operatic singing silang dalawa. To those who are saying na in favor yung song choice para kay Mica, you're right. But remember, the song that coach Lea chose showed Christy's edge. Lea also said that Christy deserves to stay in the competition. What if Lea paired Christy with other artist and she lose because the song doesn't suit her range? is there a coach who will steal her? I'm not implying that she's not good or what. What I'm implying is we should also thank Lea because she helped Christy to show more of what she can do in singing.

Also take into consideration that Coach Lea chose to have Christy do Beyonce's version. Ang unfair dun is if she asked her to do the German version like Mica, which didn't happen. It was a smart song choice that showed both artists' abilities. Yun nga lang, competition ito eh. Someone's gotta go, and I'm pretty sure Coach Lea chose Mica for a reason. She knows how to play with her strengths better than Christy, and by the looks of it, parang she knows someone else would steal the other one. That was an excellent strategy.

While its true that Mica is indeed a rare talent, Christy is also undoubtedly amazing. She seems unfazed (despite hearing Mica's singing prowess) and I became instantly a fan of her. Nonetheless, both girls literally made my jaw dropped. 😄👍 Congratulations! 🙂

Magaling naman na coach si Sharon kaso parang naco-confine lang sa ballad yung mga artists. Lahat yata sa battles, puro ballad. Sana sa ma-iba naman para ma explore ng artists yung kung ano pa kaya nila gawin. Bamboo would have been a nice pick. ;)

Agreed. Feeling ko the best itong season dahil teens sila. They value individuality over vocal prowess. Kasi sa adults, puro pataasan/pagandahan ng boses. Sa kids naman, maraming umaasa sa cute factor. Though I must say last time akong na-hype sa The Voice PH ay noong season 1 ng TVK.
