When Labour came to power in 1997 they (Brown) already had plans to remove tax relief from personal pension schemes - this devalued and/or destroyed everyone's pension, but brought the Labour government a huge windfall - there was no mention of this intention prior to Labour gaining power. Despite Blair describing Brown as a magnificent chancellor, Labour managed to leave the economy in ruins at the end of their last 'stint' in power.

The last time Labour got into power they stated never again would they be reckless with the economy, that they had changed, this time they said it will be different. When they left power they had sold the country's gold reserve a reserve that had been built over centuries for $250 an ounce, they added an extra aircraft carrier onto a Scottish shipyard via an unbreakable contract, they had tied the NHS into off balance sheet PFI contracts that are still being paid for now even as Labour accuse the Tories of wasting NHS money. To top it all they left the country with an annual fiscal deficit of 15%pa and a note saying there is no money left. They did this during one of the greatest financial booms in the history of finance. The Tories took over weighed down with a 15% fiscal deficit but when you realise that so much of government spending cannot be reduced such as health education and social benefits cutting 15% of total spending results in whats left being reduced by a much larger margin. They ran the economy under austerity which then turned into a global pandemic. I am currently listening to Labour message todate it has been we are the nice party but we cannot tell you what we are going to do. However you can trust us because even though we screwed up every time in the past this time under the leadership of a man I instantly forget everytime i see him and his assistance a woman currently being investigated for fraud, and another mate who has lived off race baiting for 25 years its going to be different. God help us.

We should end this bizarre economic approach of cutting taxes when the economy is doing well and raising taxes when the economy is not. Taxes should be cut now to stimulate growth and held or even raised when the economy has improved. There is a basic flaw with the governments current approach, we cannot get a faster growing economy whilst raising taxes so it’s counterproductive. We need to stimulate growth now to get us in a position where we can focus on deficit reduction, otherwise we are going to be trapped in this low growth high tax cycle relying on the global economy improving enough to drag us out.

@@johnkitching2248 Well at least you're admitting it. You're by far one of the worst offenders on this channel - I think you only live to shipost GBNews.
Telling the truth isn't racism, its just a fact - white britain will not bekefit from a labour Govt - half the goddamn people standing are either 1st gen immigrants and many are just plain immigrants or those that want to give them more power.
The very fact that labour has made **no pledges to STOP THE FUCKING BOATS says it all.**

How many schools are there in the UK? ... There are currently 32,163 schools in the UK.
This number is made up the combined totals of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are 20,778 state-funded primary schools, 27 middle schools, 4,175 state-funded secondary schools or post-primary schools, 2,572 independent schools and 1,609 special or alternative provision settings.
In England and Wales, a public school is a type of fee-charging private school originally for older boys. They are "public" in the sense of being open to pupils irrespective of locality, denomination or paternal trade or profession; nor are they run for the profit of a private owner.Apart from public schools, the other two forms of fee-paying schools in the UK include private schools and independent schools. Whilst independent schools are overseen by a board of governors or trustees, private schools are run by the owners, thus are comparatively more selective.
State schools receive funding through their local authority or directly from the government. The most common ones are: community schools, which are sometimes called local authority maintained schools - they are not influenced by business or religious groups and follow the national curriculum.
