I was soooo in love with Lindsey Wagner during that era.
Bionic Woman was one of my favorite shows as a little girl in the 70s. She showed grace, warmth and humility in her character as Jaime. Not every actress can do that. Such qualities must be within the actor to make them come out so beautifully in the characters they play. Lynda Carter had the same qualities.

She did - decency and compassion. That's why I loved about these female characters / Wonder Woman as well. I want to bring all this back to us today. The world is just so much less human than it once was....

The most beautiful woman in the world and the most graceful and elegant.And one of the greatest and most agile movers of all time too.So relaxed and resourceful with that incredible positivity and joie de vivre that only 70s women seemed to possess in abundance.Bond,Batman,Spiderman etc eat your hearts out you are positively lumbering in comparison with the Bionic woman.
Marko Krunic what a great compliment for Jaime! I try to capture her humor, humbleness and compassion towards others in all my videos. Rewatching these episodes as an adult I’m appreciating the heartfelt messages. As Jaime says “Strength itself is not as important....as how and when you apply it”.
@@BionicDan76 Nobody had Jaime's humour. It was as captivating and enchanting as her beauty. She was the complete package. Totally magical and delightful both inside and out.
@@BionicDan76 Dan, you're quite right. Jaime is a mixture of strength, resourcefulness, wit and compassion. I love how you edited her turning, the second turn facing Bigfoot. And Love's Theme! She's one of my all time heroes.

I always thought that the bionic woman should be more athletic looking. Never thought she fit the part.
@@RJS1974 they wanted her character to be someone who was a normal person with enhanced powers. To show how someone would live a normal life and still have human emotions with bionic enhancements. She was sure pretty enough. 😍

Yes I agree ! I LOVE watching The Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Charlie's Angels but I have to add Police Woman also because of SEXY Angie Dickinson.She was definitely blessed with a gorgeous body. She was the only reason why I watched Police Woman every Tuesdays night at 10:00 pm channel 4. All of these shows make me glad I was born a dude.

This was my favorite show when I was a kid in the 1970's - i wanted Jaime Sommers to be my school teacher LOL. I tried liking the brief 2007 reboot but i just couldn't get into Michelle Ryan's characterization. It maybe would have been better if her name was not Jaime Sommers but a whole other character. Plus the scripts were all over the place. For me Lindsay Wagner is the one and only Jaime Sommers
I agree! I couldn’t get into the 2007 reboot either. That new character of “Jaime Sommers” was more like a female terminator.
@@BionicDan76 Yes totally agree!! I didn't like the way she displayed her bionics either. She didn't have Lindsay's gracefulness when she ran or did her jumps. Lindsay Wagner had a grace and style with her bionics. She didn't look clumsy or uncooardinted the way Michelle Ryan did when she executed her moves. Michelle Ryan moved more like a fembot than a Bionic Woman LOL!!!

@@BionicDan76thx, I remember it when came across the clip, so I asked, now I remember Cathay Pacific Airline used that music in their TV commercial, l love watching bionic woman & 6 million dollar man in my childhood, now I can retrieve some clip in RUclips

So...Jaime deflects "bigfoot" toward a boulder that would easily be several tons and literally immovable by anything it's size and yet, it wobbles all over the place as "bigfoot" glances off it. Now THAT is some attention to detail - that they entirely missed!!! Makes these shows so poorly done and one of the reasons why it was cancelled after 3 seasons. Bummer for Lindsay too. Bad directors/producers can ruin a person's career.
Nice observation! Yes they did have some campy episodes! But there were some episodes that won Lindsay an Emmy in 1977 for “Doomsday Is Tomorrow” and “Deadly Ringer”.
