I am a great admirer of the music of Antonio Vivaldi. I am an adult flute student from India, and I became interested in Western classical music because of Señor Vivaldi's music. I have been to Venice twice to look for the house "Ospedale della pietà" where Señor Vivaldi was a violin teacher. He was a very successful opera composer and was forced to leave Italy and come to Vienna. He died in poverty. Johan Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi died on the 28th of July.

Soft spot is not enough to value Vivaldi. He is the greatest composer for me, ranked above Bach and even above Mozart.

Vivaldi’s music is truly godly. Bach’s music on the other hand is more of churchly hence it is this world, not heavenly.
