The thing is... When something Like law or society is against men The law and society is " apmaaneeya " 😂. But when almost everything is against society for women and many laws are against women too..like going to a man home after marriage , taking care of husband parents and if not being liable for divorce, dowry, parda, touching feets of abusers and sexual perverts in husband's family just because of societal and legal relationships like " jeth" no help from men or society or even day care system in India for upbringing,feeding and taking care of small babies , leaving jobs due to place shift or babies ,no legal( even if law exists sha can't use it because it's against society 😂)or societal rules and customs for inheriting parents property , dowry from women family members, women parents head should be always bowed otherwise men home people will not treat thier daughter/sister well. and if a women speaks against it .. then she is tagged as feminist 😂.
Well the truth is always men will have emotional attachment with men well being and thier rights or exploitation and women will have emotional attachment with women well being rights and exploitation. 😂. It's pretty natural.

Regarding laws ... I think in India in thier law making committee there was no women 😂.. so they couldn't know what's right and what's wrong for/ against women .

And some countries have very high population density. So the pressure is high on resources whether water, food, residential area, encroaching/busy roads/burdening railways/suffocating air traffic

At the time being , it's my personal opinion that there should be a law against woman also bcz woman has more respectful space in our society and if she does it should be counter on behalf of equality .
Maybe In your society women is respectable. In Indian society only for Pooja in temple female goddess is kept😂😂. Otherwise we donate women during her marriage and proudly says it" daughter donation " or kanyadaan.
Here if a women is single she is just a whore nor at all respectable. The family and parents image get tarnished if a women in thier family is unmarried and of older age. We usually don't marry a widow women because of familial societal image but marry a widower man oftenly 😂. We legally give divorce to women if she is not taking care of husband's parents . After a women rape we don't report to police we just hide it so that family reputation doesn't get tarnished. After rape without evidence almost 90 percent rapist get free and do the rape of other women again here. Gang rapes are result of that only. Still 50 percent of women need to leave jobs after marriage because we don't have enough facilities so that they can continue thier jobs . We Kill a female foetus even before birth by using USG investigation because In India we only want and need boy not girl. If we have less money in home our boy only will go to a school not our girl We need her in home for cooking and for her safety and pride in case she gets raped. Because we won't go to police after her rape. We give dowry more than our financial capability to groom's home to keep our daughters happy in thier homes. We don't give our property to our daughters we give it to daughter husband and his family as we trust a unknown man than our daughter. And why not ..we never educated our daughter with financial, legal and societal wisdom because there's no need of it in our patriarchial society, And after a women's husband death oftenly we try to snatch property of her husband too . Even in husband's side property is inherited by husband not daughter in law. Although laws are there but most of the time they r not useful for women because here women don't study and don't think of self -independence . They think of being beautiful and getting married to man. We don't have provision of marital rape concept in our homes. Even we don't allow women to take divorce if her husband and his family is abusive . Because after a daughters divorce our societal image is tarnished usually. Although we do go for false dowry cases and false rape cases for tarnishing the image of a man if a man wants to take revenge from him. He will use women as his weapon if his ego is hurt. We don't allow love or dating even after 18 year age . We think by arrange marriage and without any opposite gender interaction our child can have a life long happy marriage since parents did the same so child should do the same although every living condition and system has changed but this has not changed. If a women is not virgin she is not good for marriage. We don't have any concept of women physical satisfaction here . Most women in India don't even know about it. We don't have custom of cooking food by a boy or man if he has to.. his ego gets hurt. But we do have custom of working women.these days we want a working women, fertile women, breastfeeding women, a women who takes care and feed all members of husband's family and husband, who don't use cook or maid even if she has money, who touch feet and do parda( like burqa) from husband's family. This is the kind of women which is most famous and on demand for marrying a men by his family and even these things are demanded by daughter from her parents also . And only these kind of women are respected by a Indian man and Indian society.
Friend , definitely women condition is better then before... But still it's not respectable in India . And kindly don't compare this situation to any other country who is better or worse than India . With comparison good or bad and right or wrong is not decided. It is decided only by the person who is walking the path. No comparison with others .
Respect is an after thought. First in India women/ girl child/ daughter need -
1.Freedom- mostly societal
2.Education- mostly financial help is needed
3. Protection- from husband domestic violence , rape, alcoholic husband ,sexual perverts in family
4. Freedom from societal marriage boundations - from customs and rituals, issues like child ubbringing, women jobs.
5. Property inheritance - from parents itself .
