Neil's life quote must be :"I pay for the whole speedometer,I'm gonna use thee entire speedometer"
Lol
HAAHHAAG
Hahahahahha
Huge respect for Neil.

This makes me so happy that Blake went straight over to help Martin like he threw his bike on the floor and helped Martin
Yeah Blake is the best in that regard. All the videos when they're out riding together, Martyn is his absolute number one concern. Making sure his friend is safe and having fun. It's the best
doctajuice agreed
@@harveymunday2159 Blake is a fkin legend!!
Blake is one of those guys that just seems like a super good dude and someone you want as a friend. Very selfless and caring dude.
Yeah love it!
Doddy went to Narnia at 0:40
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
200th like
yeet
lmaoooo
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When Doddy forgets to lean on a berm and sends himself into the woods.
Doddy: "well from a tech point of view it was the bikes fault, not mine"
its alright Doddy we have all blamed the bike hahahahahaahahaha!!!!!!
I love that one :-D
Especially since Doddy is the tech geek of GMBN hahaha
Yup
His point about the reach makes sense though. His body essentially overtook the front tire, which compresses you into the berm in a super awkward way
That e-bike vs finger, daaaaayaaaam that had to hurt
In the future they have e-fingers
Whats the purpose of gloves anyway?
@@brenbascos Pretty sure a metal bar end would've been a better choice than a simple glove. I mean, the bar cut clean through the plastic/rubber bar end, so the glove wouldn't make much of a difference. Maybe his bars got sharpened after fails and bails on the edges to make such a deep cut.
Still, with a metal cap would hurt like hell regardless. :p
@@vrbaaaa I managed to get a cap less handlebar end to the thigh a couple days ago and although it left a nasty bruise and made me limp for half an hour it’s nothing compared to that. Considering I was going at a higher speed than him too, I think it might’ve just been a freak accident in a way. Maybe because it was between a rock and metal?
I don't get the finger thing what happened?
The Dodd and the bush is still my fave!
When I first started watching GMBN I didn't like Neil but his reaction to the road bike crash and how he handled recovery fostered such a deep respect and admiration for the man I have to acknowledge how wrong I was! For lots of reasons you all inspire me and help the betterment of my riding and of myself, I hope you know what you mean to us guys.
Rip neil's health insurance
Micheal Brennan luckily he lives in the uk so it’s free

@@alexmclean2163 Nothing is free. Look at there taxable income rates they get hammered for.

I was really excited about getting back into mountain biking.
And then I watched this video.
Same I watched fails of the month and then I thought crap I didn't realise how many massive crashes happened
Actually I was thinking about moving a step forward in mountain biking then I saw this, I guess I will stick to my easy entry level park trail
Just make sensible decisions man. Don't just go full send esp at your age. 😂 Also dont forget to enjoy the views and nature.
Sorry you had to feel those knacks guys like Doddy’s absolute launch into the bush, good to see you all are still making videos!
Doddy's crash into the bushes is EPIC :)
“never say 1 more run” yeah i did that and knocked myself out 😂
Last time I did that I broke my collarbone
Me too i was like last run lets do a suicide nohand... well.. I think the end of my bar just wanted to make friends with my chest really... didnt get to do one since that (edit: was like june last jear)
doddy literally disappears into the bush, and complains about the bike funniest thing I've ever seen so far.
Neil be like: I pay for health insurance Imma use it all
I've had Doddy's Bush Crash saved on my phone ever since the day that video came out! It was a hilarious crash for sure. 😂
I love that y'all share these. As a beginner it makes me feel so much better about my own falls/mistakes seeing that even pros have issues.
I came here for doddy’s crash and that is what I got
I like the vid for that, thank you
Doddy's crash is legendary, just love the laughter
"If you have had a crash recently" translates to "Have you ridden recently..." I was a medic in Army and I can tell that riding bikes has put my skills in good use. And I'm not talking about disassembling RK-62.
Lol at "yepp Neil again" 🤣🤣
I wish my crashes looked that good on video. I think I should practice crashing with style while on film. Hey! That should be the topic for a new video.
I guess that finger injury is a good reminder how dangerous handlebar ends are. I ride with a friend who leaves them open. I will need to show him that injury.
I've watched your mtb videos and your crashes are not as good as Neil's.....I agree the endcaps of bars should be closed for safety.
I agree...GMBN should do a video on how to crash with style. I am sure they have a video about how to crash, but they should title it "How to eat dirt". I do watch your videos and they are very useful and fun.
@@mtbcrasher2703 That would be a funny video...Thank you for watching and subscribing
@@scmtb8658 Thank you for watching.
@@mtbcrasher2703 Yes!!! A how to fall video with comedy
Back when I had BMX, I tried testing my trials skills, and hopping off a 7ft fall to flat surface.
Unfortunately, whilst balancing on the back wheel, I applied pressure on the cranks to hop off the wall, snapping the chain..which led to me flinging forward, landing head first into the concrete surface..the next thing I knew I was being dragged by my friends to their house
A really underrated skill that I don't hear anyone talk about is learning how to fall/bail safely
Jesus! I’m late to the channel, but I’m glad you’re ok Neil after that. Aftermath looked horrific . Love the content and the reason I’m riding again after 30 years off bike. Thank you for the inspiration guys ✌🏽
Another epic and hilarious video GMBN. You guys rock.
Patrick Star cap
you guys are so fun to watch and learn from. absolutely some of the coolest MTB guys on RUclips!
Thank you for sharing this video. It is a great reminder to us all that even amazing riders such as yourselves still make mistakes.
Neil, compartment syndrome on the thigh, ouch! I got one of those playing rugby and it put me out for weeks. You are the only other person I have heard of with that same injury to the thigh. I just started mountain biking, like 2 months ago. I am loving GMBN, all the videos are very helpful and I'm learning a ton. Not heading down any slope nearly as fast as you guys anytime soon though. Keep up the great work, and thank you!
Incredible how fast Blake get off his bike and catched Martin before he should fell down. Amazing !
I had a bit of a crash a while back and I'm very pleased there is no footage of it. On August 14th last year I was riding alone, yeah, I know, and somehow went off the edge of a narrow trail on the side of a hill. According to the firemen who found me I fell around 100 feet, which is why I'm pleased there is no footage of it. I was airlifted out and taken to a hospital in Mainz (pretty appropriate eh?) where I was operated on 3 times. I broke my T11 and 12 vertebrae and completely smashed my C6. This has been replaced by a titanium tube and the C3, 4, 5, 7 and T1 are now all joined together by rods. My T10, 11, 12 & L1 are also joined by rods. There are 4 rods and 18 screws holding everything together now. I came home on the 15th January having spent 4.5 months in a rehab clinic.
I'm obviously amazingly lucky to have survived a fall like that at all but I'm also able to move my legs and can walk with help. I'm training hard and hope to one day get back on my bike. It's going to be a while before there's any chance of that as my hands are a long way from fully recovered, I'm still unable to straighten my fingers so grabbing a brake lever is not possible. Things are improving though, slowly but surely.
If I ever get back on a bike I'll be sure to let you know. Fingers crossed.
hey gmbn I didn't think i could be this early on a vid but I just wanted to say hi and I love your content, keep up the good stuff
Chris's finger.... aaaaaw, the pain! I got myself a similar wound 2 decades ago (complete with a few stitches through the finger nail and all), but while watching this the original pain came back instantly!
My favourite one was at 0:25
I've been watching you guys nearly from when i start ridings MTB so maybe 8 months by now, Neil been so unlucky with his crashes but as u said, he is just going for it. Respect for this, keep it going guys u doing great job. I'm really enjoying watching your videos guys.
7:50 Look at Blakey catching Martyn. Look how fast he responds. What a friend. Topbloke.
We are always only inches away from disaster, riding for a living increases those odds somewhat.....you lucky barstewards! Great channel gents.
I love how you don’t let anything stop you from still getting it in. Props brother. Mad props.
Aaah yeah... The bush... I certainly have made that experience too and was stright up laughing my ass off🤣🤣🤣
This is the absolute best. Thanks guys!
Those are epic crashes! I have learned bunny hop and some other basic skills from you guy! More power GMBN!🤜🤛
This is an excellent episode. I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks a lot.
Ahh, the video we had all been waiting for!
if not the best, but one of a very few top MTB-Chanels in the world. Great presenters, great people. Thanks much for sharing. Love & Peace
Great crashes, guys! Fun to watch. One of the best things I've been able to do for my kid's progression on the bike is to just get them comfortable with the concept of crashing. It sucks, but it is part of growing and pushing the limits as a rider. Now, they are scaring the shit out of me sometimes! Lol.
thanks so much for this awesome video as always, hilarious ! but I hope your all ok
Lol lol thanks Guys, just watching this video gave me much encouragement.
Now that's the video I always wanted to see!
I love GMBN guys!!! Godspeed...
Poor Henry! That crash is stuff of legend though! 😂🚲
Great job guys.
Keep going.
Cant wait for more content from you. 👍
Neil's bails = HARDCORE! but Doddy's are the real winner. Cheers and stay safe GMBN!
Doddy overshooting the berm never fails to make me laugh
Thanks to Neil for letting us know we have "excess" blood to spare. LOL
Shows Neil's destroyed road bike
GCN: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
love how blake just gets his phone out while laughing at Dodds!!
These two guys are the best gmbn tandem..lol..and if they are with neil, they are the terrific gmbn trio..blake always get doddy into trouble while neil loves victimizing blake..they are like disney trio characters..mickey mouse(neil), donald duck(blake) and goofy(doddy)
Loved this clip and LOLed out loud various times. Glorious :-)
I had a really bad crash on this Monday night (April 6). I was descending down the road and my thoughts took control over me. I just started thinking abt my problems and other stuff. When I realized myself going straight to the road boarder, it was too late. I crashed into the border at speed of 60-70 km/h. I flew out of the road and hit the ground by my right side (at first head, then shoulder and then hands ...) Good that I have expensive helmet (Met Roam Mips) with Mips system, MRI shows that I didn't get concussion, but head is still aching and I've got some memory problems, hope that they'll disappear soon. I was really sceptical abt Mips system, but now I think it saved me. I guess its obvious that if I didn't wear helmet, u would never read this story. Guys, always wear your helmet. It's really important!
0:15 rip his back 😬😬😬
Doody using the berm as a ramp is brilliant
Neil has a habit of hugging the ground...
The best one was Doddy 😂
Hate to say it but it's a relief seeing pros wiping out. Make me feel better 'bout my riding.
Man I started riding a month and a half ago and I'm in my second recovery week... twisted wrists, twisted ankle, and several scratches on both legs. I definitely made a rookie mistake but after watching this I feel better hahaha
That was a fun video! I should send some of my crashes in!
so what did we learn: Neil just always goes full force, even when crashing^^
Ohhh I really missed riding..thank you GMBN
Epic doddy
This is why I love your channel
Classic stuff, great content.
Nice to see they are human and get caught out on the simple things. Like all the lads. 🤘👍
Doddy and the bush is classic 😂...
Blake coming in crooked off that jump is the wildest of the bunch I think.
Wow had no idea so glad Niel survived that! scary!
Also Doddy blaming the tool is funny af :D
Educational and informative.
You guys have such a epic channel i love GMBN, really has helped me develop my skills. Now launching my own Scotland Adventures Channel as you guys have motivated me so much to get onto RUclips. Keep up the good work and hopefully see you guys on the trails one day!!
Just subscribed to your channel, Best of luck, the trailer looks like it going to be a good one.
Looks great, Will keep an eye out for the MTB episodes and Kayaking
Nice of you to be honest about a channel that gave you inspiration. best of luck with your channel.
@@nomadadventures9098 Thanks Nomad, plan is at least 1 or 2 MTB ones a month.
@@jamieroberts9950 wow appreciated so much, means a lot.
More please. Brilliant
Love to know that you have been a couple of times in my country, Chile. Hope you come back soon!
That bush one tho 😂😂😂
Thanks guys. I really feel how Neil felt.
And here I always thought y’all were perfect!
Doddy, lucky that was fern and not nettles. No dock leaves required. 😂😜
Taking great joy from this as I recover from a broken left arm and a busted right clavicle
Dude the fact that a guy on a wheel chair rode a mountain bike at all is just a testament to our technology. I had no idea that was possible. But you know the old saying. When there's a will there's a way.
OMG the Tandem is insane!
Neil is a warrior! Reminds me of a fighter that gets knocked down, gets up, wins the fight
Epic laugh 😂😂😂 thanks for that!
Great video! Nice to see you guys are human and sometimes crash like the rest of us! 😄
You guys are great. Wish I had friends like you guys
You all are crazyly inspiring guys 🤣🤣🤣
great guys always love your videos
Yesssss. Finely .. a pro is a human too.. like we are. 😂😂😂
I'm really starting to get to know blokes backyard over this quarantine
Wild crashes but it's part of enjoying the sport/hobby and good up the great work lads
Love it, guys! Just love it!
I'm glad no one was hurt in the vids! I feel much better knowing I'm not the only one crashing. I'm still at least 1, sometimes 2 a day on my local trail. I just OTB and landed on my feet but knocked my axle multi-tool out. I realized after I got to the car and went back. I think someone took it. I went OTB there before but put it back in. Super bummed but at least I didn't get hurt.
Doddy’s bush crash is absolute Gold!
I did exactly the same as Henry at the Fair City enduro at Perth on a rock slab. In fact I don't think I even got as far into the stage as Henry 😂.
I did it once as well. I forgot I had my suspension locked out
I was looking forward to the spring riding season but nope never going near my bike again.
I would love to see another episode of the random tandem
Great Video!
Ohh. Never knew henry from pinkbike was from GMBN. Cool to know. 😁
