She is coming to Southampton UK in October 2014 briefly, so if anyone wants a gander! Good way of seeing her is from the Southampton red funnel ferries serving Cowes on the Isle of Wight, if you catch the right sailing when she is on her way in or out she will pass. Saw Independance of the Seas that way, right up close.
@TITANICLUSITANIA She stayed at Lee on the Solent for a few hours, Then turns around and left. She never sailed the Solent up all the way to Southampton
we were on the official maiden voyage on 05/12/09, the ship is amazing! she really is even better than all the hype. shame she is being run by rci! what a bunch of amatures! every dealing with them that we have had has been a very expensive nightmare - apart from the ship herself! they say that rci is the best out there, so i guess there's no hope!!!
@MegCruiselover5 QM2 scores a 5 on entertainment, however over all QM2 is a 4 star ship and Oasis is a 5 Star ship, QM2 wouldn't have what oasis has, because she is an Ocean Liner, and it sucks that people don't know the difference between Ocean Liners and Cruise Ships and they start criticize without knowing what they are talking.

@markhellstone Well if the Queen is the great, great, great grandchild of OOTS then how embarrassing it must be for OOTS, taking into consideration that the Queen is an Ocean Liner, therefore she's faster, stronger, and much more efficient than the OOTS. ;)
@MegCruiselover5 Yes, She is the Queen of the seas and so have all of her ancestors which include Queen Mary Queen Elizabeth and Queen Elizabeth 2, They are all Queens of the seas and many people know they are, and many of us disagree with your opinion, ok so you need to get over it, I don't hate Oasis, I have nothing to hate I just dislike it.
This is cool, but Shes too long for the southampton turning point shes 360 meters long, and the Queen Mary 2 is 345 and bearly makes the southampton turning point. so did the oasis just go reverse and left southampton going backwards???
