pro-tip from someone who only knows pvm stuff from other content creators and the wiki: ambassador's last phase is not a dps race, you can prevent the hands from healing him by standing in the way of the smoke the hands put out.
true, but if you try to do this consistentely it quickly turns into mayhem. its easier to just try to outrace the healing, eventhough you end up having to deal more damage in total. But i say this as someone with only a few kills, it's just nice to worry about one mechanic less and mad dash to the finish...
Can you talk about how broken ruby bakrimal bolts and rune axe special is at twin furies. I don't think people know how strong those two are at furies. You can hit max dmg regardless how low their health is. As long as the other health is still high you will do insane dmg and speed up kills really quickly with range.
@@ProtoxxGaming Yea, Its surprisingly Good as it does up to 100% damage period unlike rico where its 20%-100%. The Rune axe special as an extremely low 10% adren which makes it a spammable aoe special. it bounces to 3 target, if you use this at twin furies you will melt them down... though I dont think you want to use EOF on furies unless you are speed killing them for record. Other effect such as bak bolt and even t92 ECB special will apply it is surpisingly strong. for clearing groups, but since greater rico is out it kinda make this ability eh but still decent to take. Give it a try.
Any plans to do a more detailed video on doing Greg with the spear? Would love to know what abilities you have on rotation, reccomended gear/consumables, mechanics to be paying attention to, etc.
I use this spear at Araxxor and it made me rethink how I use bleeds, I only use bleeds AFTER Araxxor uses a special move starting with dismember because if you use slaughter or tendrils first and dismember second or third, the dismember will make it to Araxxor's next special move risking web shield reflects, however if last move was web shield then it is 'go ape shit with them'
@@generalharness8266 on phase 2/3 and Araxxi they can do back to back special move but first phase yeah, Araxxor never uses the same move twice in a row.
Only part of the twins where I found the scythe usefull was at their final stage when they group together to unleash their explosion attack. But you don't really need the scythe either way. So yeah I agree with you.
Tl;dr Masterwork spear of annihilation isn't a noob weapon you are wrong on that front. With it being a 1/2 of the price from zgs, it's a steal. If you are like me and hate switches or just use rev++, this weapon shines. If you use this while rev++ is active, the bleed passives and strengh cape out dps the zaros godsword without using the spec for it. What are those perks you used? You didn't even mention camping perks....

Masterwork Spear Of Annihilation is a really solid weapon. It's not cheap. Costs more than both ascensions. And I used it exclusively for a long time to learn PVM. I don't have it any more though I use lengs and better weapons now. Idk if it's a noob weapon but its definitely good for learning bosses. And now even better with the adrenaline buff on bleed. It's funny when I first started this video is why I bought that spear to start pvm lol. Thanks Bub Keep em coming
In fact my very first RUclips upload was a video from when kerapac first released that i used the T92 spear of annihilation. when I learned to solo him I recorded it and about a month ago decided to upload it
I set new PRs with the spear, beat my old times by 10 seconds or more. The bleed effect this thing has is AWESOME!!! Edit: This is now my main weapon at Twin Furies, as you can make the bosses stack atop one another to get the double hits, and it's AOE attacks still hit both targets during the charge phase of the fight... if it makes it that far

Usually something called a "noob weapon" would mean it sucks and people dont know better. (like a nox bow or elder rune). Not sure if that fits the spear as it has incredible use for Solak, ed3 and any high level boss that you can move with a bleed...

What about regular spear vs other t90s? Mainly asking for iron, at spear camp atm. Will be 1st melee wep after elder rune, just wondering how it compares to other typical weps used scythe, lance etc
For the price? Not worth it at all. For corp it will be great, but other than that its a t90 melee weapon without anything special, its not bad of course. As an ironman, im sure it will be a nice upgrade, as drygores are harder to obtain. If u have a dragonrider lance I'd still use that for slayer

I tested this spear with lunging Spear as mainhand weapon with lunging is absolutely useless because lunging does not work with melee as it says in the description of the wiki (I tested it) Dismember without lunging max hit is ~750 Per tick With lunging its only ~1000 per tick AND the perk only triggers when its NOT a minimum hit you landed. Meaning you are using one perk to increase the damage of one ability and only when that abilitiy doesnt hit the minimum Long story short, lunging on melee weapons is absolute garbage as long as you wanna camp the spear melee Just use the normal best in slot perks (a4e2 +p6r1) You will deal more damage in the same time with those then as if you would have lunging on it. Lunging doesnt boost +80% as it says on the perk (at least with melee) it only gives those 1.5x multiplier. no matter if the target mooves or not and only when its something else but a minimum hit xd cannot mention that often enough^^

Although I would still recommend P6 A1 / L4 E2 overall.
Best bang for the buck T92 tbh, bought a SGB too and comes nowhere close to the return on investment ratio. Spear should cost way more imo. Also don't see it as a noob weapon since melee is harder to do high tier pvm with than ranged with zerk rotations
Amazing spear for Greg afk (partially) and Corp. Good money per hour, plus the spear looks kinda cool, compared to the box scyth, which although good, abit out dated.
I had it since it got released i really do like it :P if i sell it now i make 100m profit on something that already made me much moneys :D but i like it a lot for some bosses
Just avoid wildy but if you do go just wear royal dragon hide and be sure to not have any Aftershock perks in it. Since if you're in a multi combat zone and if it goes off you can hit someone else accidently skulling yourself. That and always make sure to protect item when you enter wildy. Doesn't really drain prayer that fast.

If I remember correctly arraxor will not use the same special twice in a row, so if he used web he will not use it again next time.

ZGS is like a second weaker zerk, spear is a bleeding machine. That being said i've never really covered the ZGS so that could be a good idea.
Zgs is better for bossing spear is better for slayer and elite dungeons
Zgs is only used for its special attack and that’s it. The spear is only used for bleed abilities and that’s it.

Hes using Lunging 4 Percise 6. Lunging increases the damage of dismember by 20% each rank
@@adaidan1227 I get 11k damage with dismember with max hit, lowest hit being 4k total so an average of 7.5k damage per dismember, a basic ability 😳
