- This 2012 Peugeot 208 Allure model came in for a Navigation & Camera retrofit on existing 7" Display of the vehicle.
And we thought we might use that opportunity to test our CarPlay product and took a quick video of it.
Android Auto was also tested, yet due to the video files were corrupted, it will be processed and uploaded after it gets recovered.

Umm just to clarify - this only applies to those 208s with OUR products installed, stock models won't do anything even if you press and hold it.

Hello, I'm very interested by this product. However I'm wondering where do you put the CarPlay unit? There's no space to put in behind the radio. Should I put it in the glovebox?
We normally put it behind the climate control dash, so 'behind & under' the display unit'.
But that's just us - your local auto electrician may know an alternative spot.
Can you listen to the cars built in DAB, usb, bluetooth Audio ect whilst using CarPlay/Android Auto
You can, however as this is an aftermarket product, they can't do fade in / out with native audio functions, in other word : if you are listening to cars own DAB, bluetooth audio, the carplay sound won't be played as the sound setup in your car is occupied by such function you selected.
do you have to switch to the carplay screen everytime you start the car?
Unfortunately Yes - We can't alter the start sequence of the headunit.

Hi.
As long as It has the same screen - regardless of whether It has a NAV or not, it is doable.
Our product doesn't change the headunit though, think of it as adding a HDD to a PC rig.

Hi! I have an Pugeot 208 and i used android auto befor i bought the iphone 13. I know that car play is working with my car becouse my friends used it on my car with there iphones. However its not poping up when i plug in my iphone 13. Any ideas??

There's a chance that the CarPlay registration failed - Wondering if you are having the same issue with other iPhones? sorry as we aren't really expert when it comes to factory fitted CarPlay / Android Autos.

It does work , this product is compatible with 208 / 2008 and 308 models as they share the same headunit, just slight exterior design difference between them.

The CarPlay system in our video, is an aftermarket product, not a genuine from Peugeot, thus you won't be able to find it if the car didn't come with one,
I have a 208 from 2015 January. Is it possible to get CarPlay with your hardware? Is it easy to install? Do you ship to the Netherlands (EU)? Is this CarPlay the same like the CarPlay suppose to be? When I install these hardware will the standard functions of the 208 keep working and the camera and etc?

It is possible, and the installation is not the hardest job in the world ,but still recommended to be fitted by auto electricians,
It is indeed a full CarPlay add on, without missing any features, and certainly will keep original accessories / infotainment features those came with the car.

MY17 model may be eligible for an update from Peugeot dealer, if they say It's not possible or doesn't help, then please contact us.
208 Had a face lift in 2017 thus It all depends on the audio setup in your vehicle.
