How To Use Apple CarPlay with your Peugeot

- Welcome to Swansway Chester #Peugeot. To demonstrate today we have one of our Sales Executives, Anthony, who is going to take you through Apple CarPlay & Mirror Screen.

It’s very easy to use, simply take your USB charging cable, plug it into the USB port of the new Peugeot 2008 (and the other end into your phone). It will then automatically sync and the apps from your phone will appear on the screen. You can then safety tuck your phone away, as you’ll be able to use the controls on the media screen from here.
To use your phone, either click the ‘Phone’ icon and choose who you’d like to call, or if you’re driving you can use the voice control function and ask your car to call someone from your address book.
You can use any Apple CarPlay compatible apps on your car, simply download them to your phone and they'll appear when you connect to your car.

Whatever maps it is, when connected I assume it's using the mobile phone data allowance?
Won’t work on my 2008? But when I plug my charger in the usb it charges and works till but no CarPlay shows up? Just allows me to play via iPod etc

What's about 308 2016? Will work?
Hi! You will most likely have Mirror Link rather than Apple CarPlay as this was only added to models towards the end of 2016. Mirror Link is similar to Apple CarPlay and used by connecting you phone via a wire to the car. You will know if you have this feature as on your screen it will have an option that says Mirror Link and will become active when you connect your phone via the wire. Hope this helps!
Im using 65 Place Peugeot 2008 Allure S/S, it doesn't pop up anything like car play. what could be the reason?
Hi! Apple CarPlay was introduced to Peugeot's late 2016 so unfortunately, it will not be on your car.

The 2016 308 GT Line model doesn't have apple carplay I'm afraid
weve got a peugeot 2008 allure hdi 2015 and they told us you can connect android on to it, its identicle to this, any ideas??
Hi Bri, yes that is correct Peugeot Mirror Screen® (shown in the video) uses both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These work in a similar way, For Android Auto compatible phones use the cable supplied with the phone, via the USB port, and select “Android Auto” on the touchscreen. I hope this helps 🙂
@@SwanswayMotorGroup we switch it on, connect the usb to it.. it crashes. Then when looking theres no mirror ….even though we were told it was all compatible. Ours is identicle. As far as am aware from the guides and models it should work. All features are same, i asked Peugeot they said yes then no not compatible then got confused. lol I just don't get it
any ideas??? Peugeot are no help
This is not supported by the 2008 Japanese model. Dealer is not willing to update.
