My ex was a student at PS 89 on 9/11. No one ever talks about the kids who were there witnessing it. Much love to everyone involved in this documentary.

Why would anyone talk about the kids who were there witnessing it?
I was 11 on 9/11 and I teach college courses at my local university and there are freshman who only know about 9/11 through their high school history class. It's hard to imagine that time flew by so fast that there's a generation of young adults that didn't experience 9/11.
I had begun middle school located in lower Manhattan on 9/11. I remember how it all happened and how students and people were so disheveled, scared, and confused. You’re right, children, teens, and some young adults, who were too young to remember, learned about 9/11 in textbooks while we were the ones who experienced it. Because 9/11 is still such a vivid memory, its difficult to realize that its been almost 20 years since it happened.

It's Heems! Love that guy. I had a lot of buddies from Queens who had just entered highschool at stuy the day before 9/11, told me about what it was like to be there through it. Really looking forward to hearing these stories.
