Welcome to another reading vlog! I had the day off, so I decided to head to a local independant bookstore called 'Imprints', do some book shopping, read in the park and then head to the museum! Had a really lovely cozy day reading Julia and the Shark, and I'm so glad I got to share it with all of you.

The book looks so cute. I love middle grades that integrate illustrations, it just adds so much to the charm. Esp when they hit hard.

Oh gosh I’m watching all your videos today to remind me of my bookish and writerly self that feels a bit distant. Your videos just cheer us all up. Gosh this vid made me miss Adelaide (my fav city in Australia) and where I lived for two years I think. I must visit again.

Ahhh the cozy vlogs are baccckkk. You look so so happy walking around the bookstore! Also a throwback, but that shot of you filming in the mirror of the store reminds me of a similar moment from a vlog in Japan. Nostalgia 💚

How often do you spend time with your partner and friends/family? It feels like you’re always alone on your days off.
Normally I film during the week when my partner is working 😊 And now that I'm able to film during the week, it means that I can spend more quality time with him, my friends and family on weekends etc.
Amazon says “Julia and the Shark” is for ages 9-11. You agree with that?
I think someone of any age could enjoy the book. But the youngest reader I'd probably tell to read it would be in that range, yes 😊
Dangerfield stop selling their plus size clothing which sucks because I loved their alt clothing. But it's fine because their sizing is way to inconsistent anyways.
