    Glad that I found this channel. Please, continue. Most people choose to learn Finnish rather than Estonian. But I like Estonian more for it sounds clearer and more pleasant.

    Interestingly enough, endings in "elame" and "elate" sound similar to some Baltic or Slavic languages which are of different family. E. g. Lithuanian: esame esate and Czech: jsme, jste.

      You can use it:
      Mida peab tegeMA? - elaMA
      Mida ma teeN? - elaN
      Mida sa teeD? - elaD
      Mida ta teeB? - elaB
      Mida nad teeVAD? - elaVAD
      Mida te teeTE? - elaTE
      Ma jooN, ma jookseN. Ta jooB, ta jookseB. Nad käiVAD, te maksaTE and so on.

      *elama* is the ma-infinitive form you can find in dictionary. It has two parts, verb root (or stem) *ela-* and infinitive suffix *-ma* . When you conjugate the verb, you use the root and add inflectional suffixes after that: *ela+n* , *ela+d* and so on.

    Me and Te endings are the same as in Lithuanian 😱😱😱

  • @petarlekov9961

    I have a question. In my native bulgarian in conjugation of the 1, 2 and 3 person plural the ending is the same. Like example (i'll use a latin transliteration for facility) the verb '''otivam'' (which means ''to go'') in 1, 2 and 3 person plural in present takes the same ending forms like in estonian: ''otivame'', ''otivate'', ''otivat''. But why is this, because as we know both langueges aren't even in a same language family? 🤷‍♂🤔

    • @pontikischristos3927
      @pontikischristos3927 День назад

      Nobody knows. All of the languages generally had an effect on each other.
