PETE CATER, 'LEAVE US LEAP' DRUM SOLO IN 7

There are fewer and fewer big bands out there playing classic repertoire at a professional level. One of the bands still active in the UK is the Nick Ross Orchestra (NRO) with whom I have had the good fortune to appear with regularly for almost five years. One of the show highlights is the drum feature and the vehicle is frequently Leave Us Leap composed by Ed Finkel for Gene Krupa. The other day following a chance remark during rehearsal/sound check I decided to play the entire drum solo in 7, so here it is.
