@@desdar100 just saw this. I think it's a bit of a double edged sword. Especially when it comes to stuff like Hamilton. I think criticizing Lin for some casting decisions is very fair considering the context of the historical figures in question but at the same time I do think people should keep in mind that Hamilton the musical isn't aiming to be historically accurate, it's a fictionalized version of events. There are other stunts the man pulled that are a lot more questionable (supporting Autism Speaks for example) Regardless he is a very talented man. I think the notion of hating on someone's skills when they did something questionable is silly honestly. I guess at the end of the day there is also just a loud minority that simply wants to hate on the man for the sake of hating on him since he became popular.
