Man, I had my money on decades before you won the daily challenge. Guess I was wrong. But what amazes me is just how many people still play the daily challenge and make it to 7-99 daily.
29:10 I'm almost certain that they don't count as actual shopkeepers and give you shopkeeper agro if you kill them, that would be an absolute nightmare
No, you don't understand Blargho! The amount of exposition dumps each episode directly correlates to average viewer's enjoyment of said anime. It's all part of their grand plan! They know it's what we like, whether we believe so ourselves or not! (Dissaproving fingerwagging ensues.)
I always go mothership on these dailies, if i went temple which is almost always. Real shopkeepers are so rare to spawn in there anyway, and i really like blasting neobab levels as well as tusks palace, saves quite a few bombs. I usually also blast Tiamat for fun
I always figured the exposition in anime came down to the cost of production. Surely fewer payed hours go into recording dialogue and showing it on a still frame than animating elaborate combat.
I very much dislike when a narrative tells instead of showing and it’s annoying how 99% of anime do that. Multiple times an episode the same thing can be said in an internal dialogue and I’m just shouting I KNOW! My recommendations would be Psycho Pass, it hits that blend between telling and letting you piece the bits together really well, which is good as a Dystopian Sci-Fi Thriller. For something more recent and chill I’d recommend Zomb100, I don’t find Japanese comedy funny, but I actually really enjoyed it and it reminded me of Shaun Of The Dead. Lastly, for a good isakai it’s obviously Re:Zero or Mushoku Tensei. I can’t decide which is better, so watch both.
My friend wants me to watch attack on titan and he says all of the boring monologues end up being super relevant especially if you watch the show a second time 👽👽 sounds pretty tedious to me still
I don't really know, I can only tell you what I thought was great. I'm pretty basic bitch: - About half of Death Note. It got too convoluted and silly later. - Frieren is the best I've seen, until it slowed down into common anime tropes with the test arc. Still good, just not as great as what came before. - The Berserk Golden Arc movies. The Berserk anime was good but not great, the animation wasn't pretty enough. 2016 Berserk, we don't speak about. - Chainsaw Man was super silly at times with protagonist motivations but awesome enough to make up for it. - Season 1 of One Punch Man was a blast the whole time, don't know about the rest. - Goblin Slayer was 50/50 awesome and tiresome, don't regret watching it but I'm not into fanservice or 10-minute long feelings dumps. - Don't know if it counts but Blue Eye Samurai was also great. That's about all I've watched. I attempted slice of life and I don't have the patience for it, I just can't see the point of these super-low-stakes "cozy" narratives.
@@ElBlargho I'v narrowed down my list and think you would enjoy Cowboy Bebop, Devilman Crybaby and the first season of FLCL. In addition: if you can sit through the movie A Silent Voice and care about the story enough to finish it, I have a few more that at first feel like slice of life but actually aren't and do have an actual story that finishes (they made me re-learn to cry and process feelings in a healthier way)
You really think frieren was good about the unnecessary exposition in its first half? They spent almost a whole 20 minute episode just explaining how she's been suppressing her mana in the same way like 5 times in a row... Whenever i'm watching anime it definitely strikes me like they are OBLIGATED to treat their audience like they were born yesterday.

The spelunky 2 daily challenge situation is insane
7-99 in daily is so stressfull! i cant even watch you without feeling it idk how you can stay this calm and talk will playing.
The trick is to deaden your soul to any outside stimuli. Keep playing spelunky, you'll end up numb inside just like me

For anime, I'd recommend Serial Experiments Lain. It's only 13 episodes long and is a bit incomprehensible at times, but it's a decent arty anime
I watched most of Lain in high school and understood none of it. Then I watched a few videos explaining it and was kinda glad I didn't understand it!
Congrats Blargo, been watching you forever and you finally did it my guy. I hope you took a picture to send to mom!
speedrunners are mostly happy about the rarity of these level moods, I suspect that's why they don't come up much often

Madoka magica have almost no exposition and its one of the greatests
He was number 1
Don’t act like he’s not still
@@Errfxf he wasnt, a lot of people got 7-99
In terms of anime, there is always room in the church of One Piece
have you considered trying to spend some time with the ghosts? it might seem scary but it becomes trivial to dodge them after a small bit of practice
Uzumaki Is actually now an anime as well, and it's on Netflix!

I am like 1 hour and 22 minutes there's no way.
Give ‘em a kiss for me
i wish i could play as good as you, half of the time i cant even make it to 2-1 without dying 😭
Congratulations!
Slay the spire is soooo good. Wish i had it on pc so i could play that mod. I hear nothing but good things about it.
There was not a single jungle cosmic ocean level in this one or did I miss it
I just checked and there are no Jungle Cosmic Ocean levels!

Well yeah!! Technically yes you did achieve the goal 😅😅😅
Try dungeon meshi one of the best world building in anime. Some think its a show about cooking but they are wrong. Its about eating
Doesn't Anubis2 of DUAT give a surefire Jetpack? Why not go to DUAT then?
I'm not smart enough to know if it has a lot of exposition but my recommendation would be Hunter X Hunter.
Well done. 👍🏻
My friend wants me to watch attack on titan and he says all of the boring monologues end up being super relevant especially if you watch the show a second time 👽👽 sounds pretty tedious to me still
looking foward to your opinions on the ending of AOT/some of the things that happen on the way there.i didnt like it.
I've seen many a video title griping about the ending, I look forward to it!
Does that count, then ?
I'll point to it and say "this one counts after all" if I ever want to give up!
What exactly are you looking for in anime? I just really love re:zero but it's far from finished and possibly never will be

"Temple levels are free of greed"
*immediately spends 2 bombs for a parachute and 3 ropes*
Congrats on the win though

I could've sniped your ranking you know
